A yo my name is actually Etienne and I’m also a young great runner lol. Ive been averaging 70 miles a week lately and recently I ran 91 miles in a single week. Although I’m not as fast as this guy My best mile time is just a 4:59 but I actually do want to become a pro some day to just like Etienne lol
@@haydenwittig8877 Lol. What does this have to do with Etienne getting an awesome record and demonstrating who a shining talent is. Etienne is born to run.
@@haydenwittig8877 Oh how interesting. I didn't see you pipe up on the kiplimo video that is just a few days older than this. I tried looking for you but no. All i see is dozens of comments masturbating over how spectacular kiplimo after breaking the 15k record. Should i wait for you to comment the same there?
Omg I’ve never heard of this guy until today lol. The funny thing is that my name is actually Etienne, I’m half French and I’m also a distance runner just like Etienne. Although he is far much better than I am. I run an average of just over 70 miles per week. I’ve only ran 90 miles in a week once. And my best mile time is just a 4:59. Although I am training now to become a pro someday. I do core workouts everyday so I can handle that high mileage. I take ice baths just about almost every day so I don’t get injured and I’m always figuring out new techniques that can help me become better. Although during the video I can’t stop laughing since he’s literally saying my own name over and over and I just can’t help but think of myself every time he says that lol😂 He’s also butchering the name since that’s not how it’s pronounced
2:06 This race does not appear to have had pacers, because everyone wore a numbered bib, and these bib numbers are among the top finishers. Etienne Daguinos wore bib #1. Does anyone know how bib numbers were assigned for this race? At 7:38, the narrator says that Etienne Daguinos broke the European record held by Julien Wanders (Swiss), but that record (set at Valencia on 12 Jan 2020) was 27:13. Dominic Lobalu tied that record on Sunday, 14 Jan 2024 in Valencia. On Sunday, 17 Mar 2024, Frenchman Jimmy Gressier broke that record with 27:07 in Lille, where this race was run. Old record was Jimmy Gressier and not Julian Wanders. And there is 2 cross country French championship on the same day. Short race and long race. The long race beeing about 10k and the most popular and prestigious.
Etienne is a great young talent hope he keeps winning and running longer races

He is 2nd at national short cross country ! Back in France we have 2 races short cross country and long cross country

clown commentary every time

i seen in tiktok 5 years ago he only run 33 for 10k,big improvement
4:46 The 5K split is to be seen in the race results: 13'33" (that is 2'42" per km) → even split
Etienne: 27:04 Gebressalaise: 27:02. Almost identical
Crazy how many records has been broken this year
Nordås would be the most prominent Runner in this Race. Unfortunately his best distance is 1500m
awesome
Show !!!!
LILLE REPRESENT !!!
omg! learn the names of the "African" runners before you comment. It's disturbing.
With that kind of speed Etienne needs to try his luck in the Marathon. Maybe sub 207 Marathon if he is to be taken seriously
This voice over is so cringe
I forgot Baldini Athens 2004, oops!
Magic
Whites back in running. no one since the 80's, Lopes, De Castella, Steve Jones. great for the show.
