Good morning, thank you for your comments. For the bridge I used the same technique I used for my ship Batavia. I I painted a coat of Humbrol 94 acrylic (you can use any beige color as undercoat), and then passed over it with Liquitex acrylic burnt umber. There is another option, that of using oil paint. Again undercoat with a beige or creamy color and then apply oil paint. You can see my video for the Eduard Albatros D. Va. I just didn't want to bother with the oil paint for that small area. It needs time to dry. The oil paint though creates beautiful woodgrain strokes. Hope I helped and one advice to you. If you are planning of doing the version I did do not make the mistake of painting the white lines on the hull (2:00 of my video)
Hey, congrats, it looks really great ! Do you have the reference of the red you used ? Seems a bit different from revell's one and I would really like the same !
@@hadriendelaunay9245 Good afternoon from Cyprus. First thank you for your comments. Second, apologies for not replying sooner to your question. You are right. Did not do what revell suggests. It is a mixture of two paints. I dont do that cause if i need extra i can never match it. It is a large area and since i hand paint i know if i try i will fail. So here is what i did. Mind you i have switched to water paints. I was using oil based cause they were the only ones i could find in cyprus, but no matter how careful i was from the heat snd time got ruined. I also found out that water based are better for large areas but that is just me. So i downloaded the instructions for the tamiya bismarck (from scalemates). Tamiya suggests the color ts33 (ts means tamiya spray). It is called dull red. The equivalent tamiya acrylic is xf9 (hull red). I use ak interactive and vallejo. Both excellent. So i found that the equivalent ak is burnt red. If you go to aks site and type burnt red they have a pic with similar colors from other companies.. like for vallejo they say 814 gunze 47. I used ak but find what is available to you and choose. Ak has a nice booklet you can download in color too with equivalents. Any help you need just ask.
@@bobsjepanzerkampfwagen4150 Good morning, no fitting issues. Great box. I have fitting issues with the Man o war by revell. This one, the UBoat and the Gorch Fock are all excellent boxes.
Looking good wow, I just bought this set. What have you used to give this effect on the wooden bridge?

Does it come with PE parts + metal barrel?
Hello. No it does not. No pe parts or metal.
Video Editor is my favorite, too
Keeping things simple :) video production not my cup of tea.
Πολύ ωραίο
Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ.
Nice build but too many nation flags. At sea you have one flag in the mast. At port you have one big flag in the stern and one small flag in the bow.
thank you for your comment. I added only the flags included in the box and as instructed by Revell.
