- Superheroes face constant danger and terrifying threats, but overall I would say their lifespans are quite robust! Sure you have some exceptions like Iron Man or Quicksilver, (RIP guys!), most of the time the hero is going to walk away from whatever battles they face. And since they’ll survive any attack, mostly because their name is in the title of the movie, there’s a question about how long some of them will live naturally. Today’s list is all about those characters who will never actually die in the MCU thanks to their powers or lifestyles.
Some have insane healing abilities that will keep them alive forever like Deadpool and Wolverine, who yes, both aren’t technically in the MCU yet but we all know it’s a matter of time. And they had to be included here because Deadpool’s healing factor is just insane! Others are more robot than actual people like Vision or Nebula which realistically means they never have to die as long as some spare parts are around, and others just have amazing powers, like Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch, which prevent them from truly dying.
All these folks and more make up today’s list all about characters who will never die. So go ahead and check it out. Listen these are the facts about Vision now. The Vision that Wanda created in her alternate reality gave the White Vision his memories back and became the reincarnation of Vision that’s also why his eyes changed. So Vision will be seen again. There is comics on White Vision. It isn’t exactly accurate to the show but that’s most of the Marvel movies and shows😂

Flaws: Dr. Strange isn't immortal like the Ancient One was, because she drew her power from the dark dimension, and Strange refuses to do that.
Groot can die and is dead. the directors of the movies confirmed that baby groot is Groot's son, and the groot in the first Guardians movie is dead.

Honestly I clicked the video thinking he was going to give solid arguments as to why they could not die. "I don't think he's going to die" is not enough for me.
Technically the reason they gave for wolverine dying was the Adamantium was slowly poisoning him and eventually counteracted his healing because of the shear amount of it.
A few things to consider about Groot. Groot is currently in teenage phase. Rocket picked up one sliver of the former Groot and planted it. The result was Baby now Teen Groot. In Infinity War, Child Groot gave his arm to form the handle of Stormbreaker. In Love and Thunder. Thor "retired" from battle for a while, and planted Stormbreaker in the ground. When he returned to active duty, he grabbed Stormbreaker which had been in the ground long enough to grow roots.
This leads to the possibility that Groot can grow from his splinters. There could be a couple of Groots on Nova Prime and a very slight chance that one Groot might grow with Stormbreaker as part of his body.

Doctor Strange literally became Sorcerer Supreme because the last one died, and you're using that as an argument he can't die. It's like saying Green Lantern can't die because he got his ring when the last Green Lantern died.

I always knew that deadpool is Undying and this video is prooving it! I hope MARVEL is getting ready his appearience in upcoming Avengers movies. I am sure he should be in Avengers Secret Wars!

The adamantium isn't one of the key factors to Wolverines "immortality". In fact it's more of a weakness. The reason his healing factor stopped working was because the adamantium was poisoning him and making his healing factor decay.

@@thatgirlisawkward As his healing factor degraded scars would form. Initially there wasn't any scars. In the films you can see projectiles such as bullets or various cuts and stabs be inflicted to him but he heals it up no problem with no remnants of a scar. But yes, eventually scars would form due to the healing factor degrading because of the adamantium poisoning.
@@valence8446 What about in the universe where magneto took all the adamantium out of wolverine and wolverine heal back his old bones and went crazy do to the crazy amount of pain. Would that universe logan live forever and eventually heal from the poisoning?
@@mahaffer71 Hard to say. I could see it going both ways. Honestly it depends if the poisoning is permanent or if it only affects wolverine because the poison is non stop. I think it depends on how far gone his healing factor is when the adamantium is removed. If the adamantium has been there for a long time then I would think the poisoning would probably still be there it just wouldn't persist. It would stop where it's at. On the other hand, if the adamantium hasn't been in wolverine for long then maybe the poison would go away because he still has his increased healing factor at near tip top condition. But it's a hard one to answer. Very good question nonetheless.

Wolverine’s healing factor also means he will never age past his prime, as we found out in X-men origins since he is over 150 years old at the time
Hes older than that. He has memories of fighting in the civil war along side his brother sabertooth. Scattered memories, to be sure but memories none the less.

This video is ripe with flaws and inaccuracies.
Wolverine healing factor does not make him immortal. It makes him live an incredibly long time compared to regular humans. Example: Wolverines healing factor is actually significantly reduced because the of the adamantium covered skeleton. His healing factor is constantly have to heal from the toxins that are going through his veins at any given moment. Which over time, even for wolverine will eventually weaken him.
In the logon movie Logan (Yes, I know its not the "MCU") Caliban says that he smell that wolverine is sick. I think what he meant is metal poisoning. Which dramatically slowed his healing to the point that it was starting to poison him and make him look a lot older. (There was other theories as well, but they're weirder, but still plausible).
Dr Strange is a mortal man, and like the the previous sorcerer Supreme is reliant on dark magics to stay alive. He can and will die eventually. Scarlett Witch is the same as Dr Strange. She is a Mortal Women with extraordinary power, but she is still human and is capable of dying. Without using her powers to extend her own life span she will die. Especially considering that the previous sorcerer supreme and other powerful witches were killed.
Thor can and will die. His species doesn't even aged in an enhanced level until they eat a special fruit that expands there life span to roughly 5000 years or so. Now Thor in the comics is a lot different than an average Asgardian because his mother depending on the story is either the phoenix force or Gaia the mother goddess of earth. However, in the MCU there is no evidence to prove that is the case.
Groot isn't immortal at all. Its more like a cycle of rebirth with no actual evidence in the MCU that he is the same Groot that died. The baby Groot may just be a new borne who carries the memories of his past version.
I don't understand how people think that Captain Marvel will never die. Yes, she ages a lot slower than normal humans, but there is a dew things to take into account. One when she leaves our solar system for another the time dilation affect may be in affect which would mean that the time for her would pass differently on earth meaning that moments for her, may equal years to us.
Nebula would be a difficult one to pin down because she is technically still an organic being with cybernetic implants. We also don't know if she is the actual daughter of Thanos or what her species would be to gage average life span. so because she is biological at the core she can and will eventually die.
Deadpool Well, I saw in the comics that even 800 years later he's still up to things, he has the best chance of this list of living forever and Dormammu is from another dimension where the laws of physics may not even exist so its hard to say.

@@SuperIntenseGamer They are some sort of biased for Scarlet Witch. They have shown her power exactly as she is in the comics, but for characters like Doctor Strange and Thor, there 20%-30% power has been shown. Though I expect them to become more powerful in Thor 4 and Doctor Strange 2.

The adamantium skeleton inside of wolverine was poisoning him, causing him to slow down and causing his powers to not work anymore. Yes, he should be able to survive being stabbed in the chest,(if he was younger), but because if the deteriation of his skeletal system, his healing powers stopped which caused logans body to deteriate.

When Wolverine was battling the Silver Samurai, Wolverine had nearly been depleted of this healing factor so this also contributed to Wolverine's loss of the majority of the healing factor that was protecting him from the Adamantium that was inside of him. I was wondering when he re-metalized his claws?

Iron Man 2, Thor and the Incredible Hulk all took place on the same week meaning that they all where occupied.
It goes the same excuse for most others.

Also, Odin lived that long bc he was the chosen heir to the throne by Bor. Odin chose Hela first, so if anyone is gonna live as long as Odin, it’s Hela. “She draws her strength from Asgard” just like Thor but on a much stronger level, because she is Odins true first born and the rightful heir to the throne

After watching the new marvel movie, and then watching this list, it made me laugh at how bad it is
Wolverine can die actually if he gets his head decapitated he can not simply regenerate the only person as of now who can survive decapitation is Deadpool
