Yes, idk why but I find it so interesting to know what other people eat during their period. For me, I have to eat something light or else I feel so bloated afterwards.
My cousin showed this channel to me 2 years before...and my first ever video was her summer morning routine..from that day onwards i jst wait for her new video...thank u so much jenny because you have really changed my life🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
thanks for talking about the chemicals inside tampons and pads that are non-organic (and can make periods worse)! i know it’s an ad but it’s a really important topic all menstruating humans should talk about!
The turmeric incident would have me like 😭 while on my period! Also, I'm definitely going to try these tamps and the spiced chickpea stew recipe! 💛 Another wonderful video, Jenny!
I used to use these because I noticed I used to get super constipated and gas crampy (on top of my terrible period cramps) from Tampax tampons. Huge difference. I’ve since switched to a menstrual cup because that’s what works best for me but 10/10 would recommend these tampons for anyone considering a switch!
Exactly on time for my period! Haha ❤️, I’ve read coffee is meant to not be the best on your period but I feel like it saves me every time! So good to see it does for you tooo
I'm sure you have had people recommend before, but I just have to jump in and say try a menstrual cup!!! It is one of the best moves I've made toward being more sustainable, getting to know my body, and taking better care of my body. I have saved so much money, time, and stress over if my tampon would leak or not. I've worked 12 hour waitressing shifts and never had to change it. I would recommend a lot of research and to measure the height of your cervix before you go sticking one up there, lol. I also noticed that there is none of that period smell that you can get with a tampon or pad, and I feel so clean during my period. There is definitely a learning curve, but once you get it, you can do it in your sleep. I wish you all the best!! xo
btw, Jenny, if you're considering an even better product for both your body and the environment, check out the menstrual cups (i'm sure you've heard/read about these) there are a million brands out there but I highly recommend Saalt or OrganiCup. I will never go back to wearing tampons (which cause horrible cramps btw, which I only realised after I stopped using tampons, even the organic ones). They're cost-effective (lasting up to a decade) and an environmentally friendly alternative, which is awesome. Also, tampons soak up all the good fluids we should maintain, whilst a cup does not. If you'd like, go ahead and read this article www.organicup.com/environmental-reasons-to-switch/ which explains everything about the environmental impact of tampons and how menstrual cups help the planet, and our bodies, of course. :) hope this helps!
@@yj6118 If you simply pull it out, the suction hurts like hell, of course. The way that works best for me is to pinch the base of the cup, so that the suction is cut, then wiggle it down from side to side, slowly. This way shouldn't hurt at all. Have your sister watch this video (th-cam.com/video/SBZF0vHSf0c/w-d-xo.html) it's great at explaining how to remove the cup very well. Hope this helps!
the stew!!! made that for my partners and i 6th anniversary dinner it was so good!!! accirentally didnt have enough chickpeas so we had one can of chickpeas and one can of black beans
I also got my periods today. I ate pizzas during the all day 😁 Really love that you mention having periods and make a video about how you cook during this time. It gives inspiration 🙏🙏🙏
really excited to see this sponsor!! I personally vouch for menstrual cups and period undies but understand they’re not for everyone. when I still used tampons and pads I always tried to pick up natracare!!
Damn, that recipe is my go to! I always cut the red pepper flakes by 1/4 though- so spicy, and add spinach at the very end too! I love your videos, they always give me a boost and make me think. I'm really looking forward to seeing your video on POTS in the future whenever (if ever) you are ready to share your journey. I've had a similar chronic illness for 19 years now and it is a rough game, so emotional and hard to discuss. Take care of yourself Jenny, you rock!
ohmygod i dont think ive ever been this early!! good night to me cause this video will end it perfectly!!!! 💜💜proud of u for being so consistent baby!! thank you
I highly recommend you switch to the diva cup!! it is absolutely incredible once it is mastered. Changed my period life. Also it is far far better for the environment than any tampon applicator and it only costs around $30 bucks which means you dont have to keep buying tampons anymore! :)
Here’s a tea that helps with cramps if you get any, cinnamon tea. Boil water with a cinnamon stick (because it’s stronger) and drink it. Just for anyone out there.
The organic tampons you use are actually the only kind of tampons you get in europe. I use the menstruation cup, which I can only recommend using, because it saves so much plastic and packaging!
Dude you have been your most authentic thriving self since you’ve been in Colorado. Idk if I want you to go back to NY?😕 Some of my favorite videos of yours are when you were in Colorado💙
These all looked so good omg. That beef looks scarily real tho! I’m going to be purchasing some mung beans soon to hopefully try out making the fake eggs like youve made in past videos before switching to just egg
alright yall serious question, that recipe Jenny made, could i replace the chickpeas with another bean like black beans or maybe lentils? i need opinions because i want to make this but i dont like chickpeas.
Oh my gosh not your cute polka dot shirt! Are you gonna try to dye it yellow maybe since I’m guessing that’s gonna stain. This looks sooo yummy though, you have a really lovely relationship with food from your videos it’s very inspiring

My sister tried it but it seems like she didn’t properly put it in because it hurt like a b**** coming out. Any tips for learning how to use it?
