@Zizaran I didn't ever hear you mentioning it, and maybe it's not that important, but I wish someone told me about it sooner. You can Ctrl +click on npc to get their window open directly. Especially setting Tane near map device is cool thing to do, since it opens trade window instantly, huge QoL thing after each map. Maybe put it into your mapping 202 guide :). 5k+ hours into the game and I just learned it recently lol.
@@1FlyingDodo Insta life when below 50 is still meh imo. You get big shot that takes 49% of your health pool, you use your flask and it is not instant. You get another shot that takes more than 50 % and you are dead. If you'd have insta flask you would survive. So imo panicked it's still not as good as seething. You want insta flask no matter what.
Thanks for doing this! My husband has been trying to get me into PoE but it just felt overwhelming this is helping break it down a bit easier for me to actually absorb the information without feeling like an anxiety attack is coming!
What should I prioritize when looking at a drop while leveling? Base, explicits, sockets, links? For example, what's better to use, a weaker base with desired mods or a higher one with less desired mods? Should I bother with gear that has sockets of different colors of what I need? Or without all the links I need? Should a, for example, marauder bother with Evasion or ES (or hybrid of those) gear, or pick up armour gear always?
Something like “20% increases cold damage” on a wand is local, correct? I had a seasoned player tell me this is global, but that would seem local to me because it’s missing “to spells”.
Nope. If item says ADDS, it's to weapon (local). If it says to spells or attacks, it's global. If item says increased and it's stated in % it's global, unless it's physical damage, then it's local. It's weird but it's how it works. Weapons don't deal elemental damage by default, so you can't increase cold damage of weapon if it never deals cold damage by itself. However you can add cold dmg with mod that says so to a weapon, just not increase it by %. So by the rule of thumb - phys dmg is always local unless it says otherwise. Elemental dmg is always global, unless it's "adds x-y dmg " without specifying spells or attacks.
How many resistances should i have on each individual gear piece? I see endgame players having like t1 res per piece and it works for them and im trying triple res and barely hit my cap with like t3-4
It really depends on how many uniques your build uses. A lot of uniques don't have any resistances, so the inverntory slot is 'wasted' in terms of resistances. If you don't need any, you can probably get away with t3-t2 everywhere, if you do use uniques, t1 would be perfect. Rolling for T1 could also free up a suffix you can use for an influenced modifier on an item though, which could help either defence or offence.
If i get hit which would injure me by 200HP (consider I have no ES) would it also decrease 200ES before life if I had it? Becouse I read iin build guide, that 10K ES is recomended in CI or 5K life without CI, is it not than?
I can’t wait for a map guide from ya. I cannot for the life of me acquire more watchstones, even though I’m doing zana missions on higher tiers and beating everything down. I’ve been trying, but it feels rough for some reason.
evasion first "line of defense" which is compared to attackers accuracy, but it's not true random chance as it uses entropy system which eliminates long lucky/unlucky streaks (how it works exactly go to wiki or sth. then if evasion fails and hit goes through Dodge is checked which, unlike evasion, IS true random and is flat chance to dodge hit after evasion/accuracy check
Thumbs down! I have had pretty bad teachers in school that I have filed complaints about. None of them are as bad as this at explaining things. This is beyond terrible.

@@HydroKyl240COG Heist trinket not included on intro gear list 0/10 could not recommend Kappa
Do you still feel the same about panicked life flasks with the low life change?

Ziz: "And the faster we kill them, the faster they die."
Me: "Uh-huh, uh-huh" *frantically taking notes*
All this while not wearing any pants, mind you.
2000 hours in and I still love watching these videos however basic or intro they may be! :)
amazing series...just amazing the way you explain the details....10/10

Ziz is indeed amazing with all his content. You are in a good place to learn all that you need to know for Path of Exile! Stay safe in Wraeclast!

"No life, no resist, it's trash."
...
So, of the 6 powers my rare items can have, 2 must be taken up by this stuff. Okay.
Damn didn't realise that picking up and vendoring items is that important, great video thank you!

@Zizaran i think for local modifiers the values of the item are blue while for global white

When is the next Uni coming up? I just started and i already went through the courses :D Nice idea BTW. Thank you.
Thank you! I really appreciate this.

Watch path of matth video about watchstones, it will become clear.
🤔 never thought of not having pants in this game
Pants of Exile
thank you for doing this series, the game is very complex and this helps my noob ass
I appreciate this shit good work.
I just realised that flasks that worked instatnly when on low life now will work when you have less than 50%.
Since low life is redefined. O.o
I was thinking the same thing. May get to see Panicked flasks see some use on builds using Petrified Blood.
Oh wow I imagined low life is like 10 % or something lol.
Is spell damage on a wand local or global?
local
@@daneonate5714 thx
@@smokeybrown8752 It's global
was wondering why i kept dieing on rituals but not during the story. chaos.
What is the difference between evasion and dodge? Seems like the same thing.
evasion first "line of defense" which is compared to attackers accuracy, but it's not true random chance as it uses entropy system which eliminates long lucky/unlucky streaks (how it works exactly go to wiki or sth. then if evasion fails and hit goes through Dodge is checked which, unlike evasion, IS true random and is flat chance to dodge hit after evasion/accuracy check
I did not know you can take gear in PoE
Pants are just a suggestion
@Ziz You look pretty tired the whole series. What happened?
with low life counting as 50% now panicked flasks should be quite okay
All over the place with topics. I pity anyone who's super new with how much this bounces all over the place. Highly recommend a restructure
Are more

This game wasnt made for the casual gamer :(
Oh yeah.. But it's still fun though, and you learn as you go :)
