I have seen some rumors of Antman being in this movie. I can only think of one reason why Scott Lang would be included. If Lang was in the quantum realm during "No Way Home", he would not have been affected by Strang's spell. Lang would walk past Peter and simply say "Hello Kid". Peter would ask Lang how they knew each other and he would be a link between Peter and the people who used to know him.

This was really great. Definitely some great ideas in this pitch.
I love the pitch. I really really want the team up of all the street level heroes to happen. If I could see Daredevil and Spider-Man fighting side by side against Fisk on the big screen, that would be a dream come true. Some of my favorite episodes from the 90s Spider-Man show was with Fisk and Daredevil. Add in the other Netflix heroes and echo and Kate bishop (and maybe moon knight? We don’t really know what he’s been up to), that would be the dream team up.
But I am scared that it wouldn’t be a “Spider-Man” movie. Sure, he gets the black suit, we see his built up anger and all the emotions of how NWH affected him. But the movie really needs to show what he’s been going through and show adequate time of Peter’s development. I’m scared that Peter’s story will just be overshadowed by the team up and other heroes and the rest of it. It seems like too much. I want Tom to show the raw emotion that Peter has been feeling and, in the end, moves on from the pain.
Thus, I think a better approach for the team up and all that would be a separate Defenders movie for that part, while Spider-Man 4 serves as a story about Peter, and how Matt helps him through his darkness, just like how Father Lanthom and Foggy and Karen did for him during Season 3. The Defenders movie could show Peter healed and recovered from what came before and instead be willing to maybe help lead this team since he’s been in team ups before.
This would be fire...even the kingpin symbiote.

It’s crazy how simple this could be for spider man. Like do we really get how strong he is in his beliefs. To everyday fight someone trying to kill you and not to use your full strength. If he wanted , he could kill this guys quite easily. Yet he doesn’t. 😮😮😢

It's not a bad movie prompt. That said, the ending is too clean in its wiping away of No Way Home's consequences.
Fisk also just has too much used to early. Ideally we wpuld have actual build up over more than 3 projects. Especially as only 1 of these is a movie. Assuming we have Fisk become Mayor at the end of Dare Devil born again we should have a project or two actually involving his rein before taking him down. Peter needs time to really show the consequences of his choice. I honestly want to see Ned become hobgoblin as part of a college project connected to Fisk's anti-hero campaign. His fall being a direct concequence of Peter erasing his memories. We know Ned in spiderman one before learning he was Peter idolized/feared Spiderman. That could be twisted with what he can remember of the experiences now without Peter being a force he can depend on as traumatic. I am not saying this because I think we should just do a best friend turning on Peter story again, but because it honestly feels like the natural way to me Ned would develop with the tone we are seeing in the MCU. I could see sometime in the movie Peter transfering into M.I.T. leading back to MJ, but feel that would be better either as a credits scene or as part of the theoretical Spiderman 5. He's going to be in a junior college alone for likely 2 years. I honestly want to explore his time there and how he would develop.

Echo proved Kingpin is a perfect storm. He's gone too far to turn back now. He had a chance to change his life, but he'd rather stay a rabbit in a snowstorm. Daredevil and Spider-Man will have no choice but to stop him in Daredevil Born Again and Spider-Man 4.

It was great i think this was a much needed series to get marvel back to its roots im excited to see what next for kingpin in the MCU.
It was entertaining enough. So, not bad. I never read the Echo comics or any of that. And I am aware of how they change the character for the show, etc. It didn't bother me.
However, when they showed flashbacks to 1200ce when the Natives in Alabama are playing lacrosse, why was there a white guy in the crowd? That truly made no sense! I know some people are implying that was Odin. But that's a crap theory. And to the other people saying it was supposed to be a viking explorer. Vikings didn't make it to Alabama. They settled in Newfoundland Canada. Far away.

I personally think that Sony considers SpiderMan to be a hero on the level of Iron Man/Captain America. They would never allow him to work in a team with such lowly heroes as Daredevil, Echo, Kate Bishop, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Punisher.

Kind of curious how Kingpin links MJ and Ned to Peter when no one is around to fess up and physical records have all been changed to erase Peter. That is a massive plot hole that is impossible to resolve.
Spider-Man has still been around mj and Ned so if he sees footage of Spider-Man with them then he doesn’t really need to know Peter

SpiderMan watching over them has not been shown in canon so it's not a plot point you can build on unless you establish it in your own fanfic and, maybe I'm misremembering, but I don't remember Ryan establishing it in his.
@@Dredhedassassin what footage? It has all been removed by the spell. Nothing, not even digital images, can remember Peter. So he'd have to start hanging around them in the post-spell universe for there to be footage of him with them and that has not been established in Ryan's fanfic.

I have a question: Could it make sense if spider man would team up with venom and will use him as a suit, even after spider man 4? Because this venom is still from Eddies one, who wasnt a villain, but helped him to beat other villains. It will also be a good Upgrade for Peter because the Villain in Avengers 5 and 6 will be on multiversal level and since he doesnt have the nanosuit anymore(maybe it will change), he would only have the classic suit.
@ihavenoname-qm8nr odds are the piece of venom won't be sentient so it wouldn't be much of a "team up" but yes the symbiote would be useful in the Avengers movies but i wouldn't be surprised if it's removed from him by someone like Thor who could recognise a klyntar and advise against wearing it and inform Spider-Man it's an alien lifeform

When you're a comic book nerd, you'll probably going to write better material than what Disney and WB will put out post endgame. The days of hiring the comic book nerd writers and directors or writers and directors who honor the source material and try to do right by these characters. Disney is just hiring anyone who don't even have any regard for this material.

Did anyone hear that Sony WANTS to continue to work closely with Marvel? I saw the whole "Forget who Peter was" thing as a way to sever Sony from needing to work in conjunction with Marvel regarding Spider-Man. Not that I assumed that was the case but Spider-Man's future in the MCU seems kind of uncertain to me.

Is it me or does it seem like the writers of ScreenCrush write better stories than the Marvel writers? Why don’t you guys write your own show? This feels like Michael Jordan analyzing high school basketball film. This video is seriously impressive. I know a lot of what happened here somewhat happened in the comics so theres some reference, but the foresight and puzzle piecing from you guys is what Marvel is lacking right now. Write new characters, make it animated, make it a true TV MA show, trust the audience, put it on TH-cam TV and make the series that Marvel could never make.
Just incase this happens ...I really hope Steve Carrell plays Doctor Doom . I feel like if he was in the full costume , with face mask, and cape. The mannerism he would find and if they somehow altereed his voice on set with the mask and melded better in post.. I've been thinking about this for way to long haha and seeing all who have come and gone and the levels of their off the ground physics.. that element of drama comedy improv humor satire.. thanos and doom in a car with darkseid comic haha or even hearing how he could even talk in the third person... It just seems a really great combination to at least give a costume test haha love the vids have a great one

@@PRIMAL_BLADE The Best things since Endgame “imo” has been WandaVision, Dr Strange 2, Spiderman, and Loki. Ms Marvel and Moonknight had potential but their endings ruined it for me. Everything else has been really hard to watch and it feels forced.
Of course we all have no idea if this is anything like what they will do, but it is totally something I would watch!

I agree. MJ and Ned should be the cure for the symbiote. It would be cool to see how he tries to impress her with his new suit and abilities but she says: I liked you in the red and blue suit. You changed, everybody sees that in the city. He gets mad and go to The Daily Buigle to threats JJJ because his articles are reporting the dark side of Spider-Man. And then he realizes it's not fault of the news but the symbiote. :D

The thing with villians like Norman Osborn or the Kingpin, is that they find ways to come back. They take a big chunk out of Peter, like losing a loved one because of them, get caught or 'killed', and always find a way to come back even worse than before. They change their faces, obtain seats in government or wealthy business, and influence the public by changing their image to a 'good guy', totally mind-effing with Peter, Daredevil or any arch-nemesis.
I really hope we get Bullseye, he was one of my favourite parts of Daredevil S3
The public already know Frank Castle is The Punisher (represented by Matt Murdock while Punisher was in prison with Fisk), so Fisk hires Castle to "hit" Spiderman, setting up the classic Spiderman comic introducing The Punisher.

Kingpin has always been one of Spiderman's arch enemies long with Green Goblin and Doc Ock.

The Venom symbiote inhabiting Kingpin would make for an interesting scenario in the MCU. Not sure if that's possible considering contracts and what not.
I hope Disney is watching this because this would be a very compelling story for Spider-Man.

Who cares about the MCU at this point? Do you read the comments or the reviews of the shows from the past two years? You don't to watch the shows to know they are crap I grew up in the 70-80s reading comic books and these characters didn't sell comic books. Read the reviews from Hollywood Reporter or other websites including Rotten Tomatos and that is all you need to know about the MCU being CRAP. If the fans wait long enough or until the series ends ScreenCrush will say what they really thought about the show and how bad it was but they are pushing fans to believe the MCU will be great. Wait until every show ends and SC will finally give a non-biased and honest opinion of the show.
Every show and movie has bombed and the fans don't care about the MCU it's dead and bury it. Echo was crap as was Loki, the Marvels, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and the great She-Hulk, Secret Invasion and they were all suppose to set up the MCU for the future. Kang was defeated by ants and Ant-man SUCKED. Kang is gone and what do you have without Spiderman having an MCU, Avengers cross over the movies suck. Spiderman Home coming was crap and then the MCU said let's add him to the avengers movies and he needs an MCU character or the movies are crap. They were crap with the Avengers and the MCU characters. Echo is a waste of video and this will not set up the future of the MCU it's a mess and these are NOT popular comic book characters they are D-List and the bottom of the barrel in the 70's and NO one read them in the 80's or 90's. What kind of crap do you think the fans want? They hated the Marvels look at the box office, GOTG wasn't as big of a hit as you think look at the numbers and include the promotional stuff. Secret Invasion was a joke, as was Loki which is there even a Kang Avengers movie now? This is a great channel but look at what you are saying last week you loved Echo and then at the end of the week it wasn't good or flawed. This is a good channel but you are not giving a nonbiased review of the material and it shows. The MCU is the best one day and then a few days later on how they have issues and need help. The Kingpin is not a strong or a great bad guy and your hero is only as strong or as good as the villian. The MCU has been ruined by Disney and Kevin Feige's making bad comic characters into wannabe great heroes.

The only multiversal story that I could see being effective with Toby and Andrew returning would be if they build on the final scene where when Venom went back to his own universe, but a part of the symbiote was left behind. This would give them a good reason to have all three meetup again to fight the new Venom with Toby's experience with a Venom and they could even say that Andrew had faced his own (offscreen), but since this new one has some kind of multiversal aura around it and Tom's Spiderman has nobody else to turn to (them not knowing who he is), he somehow reaches out to Toby and Andrew to help contain the symbiote craziness.
I hate the idea of this unjustified pointless rage being magically put into Peter Parker because a symbiote has a hold of him. Just as stupid as making Wanda kill a load of people because of an evil book. Stupid dumb stupid.
We JUST had 2 other versions of Spiderman ease Peter emotionally to prevent him from becoming as violent as they became. We do NOT need to force this character to stop pulling punches and do the same thing the other two told him that they regretted doing. I am so surprised that you are advocating for this. I hope Sony does not let this character be ruined.

Kingpin was emasculated and ruined in Hawkeye and Echo. The 90 seconds of Daredevil in Echo saw DD let a murderer go free.

I thought it was realized that Pointdexter wasn’t in love, but wanted to learn how to be more neighborly and social normal… that’s why he was following that young lady around. She was going to teach him how to operate normally but Fisk wanted to keep him unhinged.
