I've been using green screen with my iPhone for my stuff for years. I'm at the dining room table with a semi-permanent setup. It's not pro quality per se, but it definitely looks good. My old background was a barrel room from a pic I took in Bordeaux. I used that for many, many years. I did experiment with some gaussian blur for a short time. I liked it, but I also wanted the barrel room to be completely in focus. Now it's a graphic with wine glasses instead. Anyway, if done right, you can get some stellar results without ProRes or 10-bit. I think the first iPhone I used was the 8. I'm on the 11 Pro still. I do like the idea of a faster shutter speed.
Cool deal. And yeah, agreed if you know what you’re doing you can make it work with 8 bit, but the 10 bit and then of course 422 color just makes it that much easier to key. Thanks for watching!

please do more of these about iphone 13 pro and green screen!!
Great video, THANKS
Greenscreen it is very challenging with phones and wideangle shots with bigger distances and bigger greenscreens.
Can I shoot my green screen without iPhone 13 Pro and also Edith with same phone, because I don’t know how to edit with laptop
Ideally shoot 10-bit video if you can for best results, but you can definitely use other options - and edit on your phone with LumaFusion or similar.
Do you have any tips for improving photos for concerts?
would like to buy the combo pro pack but Ido not use PayPal!!
Very informative
Cool stuff, Blake, thanks!
What is app name
Great tutorial! Next “How to track footage for logo placement.”
I have just a regular iPhone 13 will I still be able to do all this ?
Sure, just not in ProRes. Choose 10-bit HEVC and you can get similar results.
do you use app? and what kind of app?
For the compositing? Premiere Pro. For shooting I used Filmic Pro.
Very informative thanks
Great video! Thank you very much.
Great video 👍
I’m still confused.
Can it be edited with iMovie?
Yes you can do green screen in that app, albeit a simpler approach
O do not find this configuration and settings camera on my iPhone . Do you know why?
If you’re referring to ProRes, then you have to have a 13 Pro or later.
@@iphoneographers thanks
Nice & Thanks :)
How about with Pixel Pro?
Yeah, pretty much any phone will work especially if you shoot in good light. 10 bit video is ideal, but you can make it work with 8 bit.
@@iphoneographers Could you please make a tutorial? What program do you use to edit your videos?
reflections of the tripod from the glasses...😂😂😂😂
I literally asked Siri and she brought me to this video
Sweet
Please I want you to teach me
This is hardly for a beginner……I literally didn’t understand half of it
Lol fr this dude talked for all that time a d said literally nothing of use for a beginner.
OMG! Green screen this lol ➪🥴🥊 Weirdo, helpful NOT!
3rd….darn.
No idea how to do this
If the app were upfront about how much it costs, that would be fine, but it's a bait and switch people. $4 a week. Hoping you'll forget about it.
This turned out to be wayyy too advanced for me, a total beginner. I am so lost.
ok got an Acct
Good deal, thanks!
