..and another sleepless night is in front of me. Will watch these videos and enjoy the music, while my memories go back to those glorious years and remember how beautiful, funny, intense we all were. And how good the prune cake was :-)

Chloe Lawrence I agree, now ppl either crash parties, bring a plus one that was never okayed, suck down all the drinks and eat like nobody else is at the party, but came empty handed then they leave with doggie bags and extra drinks. Even after all that, they don't say goodbye to the host or sneak a few dollars in their pocket for basically imitating the deadly sins, "Sloth/Greed" at their party. I've seen my sister behave this way at every single family event she's invited to, but has the ignorant audacity to charge for drinks at her lame parties, which, always end up in altercations led by her sloppy rude ass. She's the type that gets liquid courage, gets a slick ass mouth, and tries fighting everybody when she can't even fight. Some ppl maybe feel like I'm being harsh, but I've lost all kinds of respect for her, especially, after she found out that she has Hep C, but threatened to cut some girl and bleed on her so she could give the girl her disease. I don't care about being related, because that's a horrible thing to say to anyone.
If I would have been born 10 years sooner, I would have been right there with them! So much fun and thanks to Nelson who made this possible! RIP, my friend.
I should have been born earlier - I was only two when this was filmed, and the 80's seem much more fun than today when everyone spends their time staring at their phones and taking selfies...
Victoria Cuthbertson Honey they were. I was in my teens but I used to sneak out all the time. NYC was truly lit back then. Everything started to die around 2002 when Giuliani's sanitization and Disneyfication of the city went into full force. Nightlife is dead.

Michael Alig (born April 29, 1966) is an American former club promoter, musician, and writer who served almost 17 years in prison for manslaughter. Alig was a founder and ringleader of the Club Kids, a group of young New York City clubgoers that became a cultural phenomenon during the late 1980s and early 1990s.[1] In March 1996, Alig and his roommate, Robert D. "Freeze" Riggs, killed fellow Club Kid Andre "Angel" Melendez in a confrontation over a delinquent debt. In October 1997, Alig pled guilty to first-degree manslaughter. Both men were sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison; Riggs was released on parole in 2010, Alig on May 5, 2014.[2]
Just check on wikipeadia my dude. It's all legit. It's actually way worse than what I posted too. He killed a guy then put him on ice for a few days until he stank too much. So he cut him up using knives, then dumped him in bags into a river. Pretty fucked up.
That obviously wasn't anything close to why I said "Yeah?". I understand 'Wikipedia's' function as an information repository, substantiated by external references. You 'Copying + Pasting' that made it clear that it was from 'Wikipedia' because of the format. I'm 100% aware that it's awesomely valuable and credible if not in a vandalized or un-policed state (to just summarize it in a basic form) --- anyways, beyond that expository, I said it because it was really just useless to post what you did. Everybody pretty much knows at this point. I also happen to frequently make contributions to editing on 'Wikipedia', having submitted over a thousand minor and regular edits in the span 4-and-a-half years.
Yeah... but it's actually widely known; one the primary aspects of that counterculture. It probably, more than likely besmirched and created an even worse connotation of who they were. And I'm not homosexual, nor was alive in the 1980's.
Not every house had microwaves back then. People were still unsure about using them. They really didn't have microwave food yet and people didn't know how to make meals in them. Cooks frowned upon their use. People felt you could get radiation poisoning from them. They have come along way.
