John replaced the lead singer when things weren't going so good for the band. John is held in high regard in Australia and him filling in was a testament to how much the Little River band is loved also.. like I said, anyone who knows the song will love 💗 this version

The Little River Band was a smooth band and had a couple of other big hits like Lonesome Loser and Time for a Cool Change. Both are awesome.
