You have added a lot of light and color to a very gloomy November in New England. Wow, that came out beautiful! I love hearing the birds in the background of your videos. It sounds like a tropical paradise.
Interesting. I actually like the effect better before baking, at least as it appears on the computer screen. The mokume-gane effect is less visible after baking, because I am seeing more of the silver leaf through the very translucent layers, and it's getting in the way of seeing the pattern. I wonder how this technique would look with Premo translucent instead.
I have run into a problem with translucent. I see in your videos that they soften nicely and fill in so easily when making canes. I have yet gotten translucent to soften well enough to work well. It is so hard. I tried warming it in a baggie in warm water, holding it under my arm and no matter what I do, it doesn’t get soft and pliable like yours does. Any advise?
I love your choice of colors!
This one is beautiful love the colors and the pattern on it. All of them is unique and different in there own way...😀😁😎
Samantha, this is so pretty. You make it look easy. You are a really good teacher. Thank you.

What’s not to love about using up all of your chosen clay in one sitting! Very pretty results. Thank you. ❤️

With Premo you'll have more definition between the layers. Making the layers thicker will help too.
This one is my favorite.
I like that Pardo comes in plastic containers.
Coucou. Très joli mais peut on utiliser juste de la fimo non translucide ? Merci

Are you buying it from a good seller?
Wunderschön!!!!
I put hard clay in a zippy bag and sit on it for a while, works for me! :)
That‘s a good idea....🤓greetings
Why not warm the rollers as well?
You can do that as well if you want.
I didn’t think you had to bake air dry clay? Can you use any type of air dry clay besides Pardo?
Cate, it's polymer clay she is using, not air dry.
