I love the one with Resin! It still has a lot of the crackle texture to make it really interesting! The other one seems to have all the cracks disguised by the matte varnish, as if they're not even there.
What if you laid down a very very thin sheet or translucent over the kroma crackle, and then tried your resin, varnish, or whatever wsurface sealant you use?
These turned out really cool. I like the resin one better because it brings back more of the color.

couldnt you use the metalic liquid clay to make a crackle as well?
