@@HeatherFarris well the tests I ran worked! I’m having other issues with my Pinterest tagging though. Back when I had no idea what I was doing, I created two ad accounts that I don’t need and can’t figure out how to delete them.

This will track conversions regardless of the traffic source, what if I wanted to track conversions and events just from my Pinterest organic pins? I don't want Pinterest dashboard to displayed events that are performed by other traffic sources like SEO, Facebook, is it possible?
Hi Heather! I keep getting stuck after 3:36. I created everything in Google Tag Manager, but when I go to Pinterest, I don't have the (+) option next to init, it just says "No conversion types available to select". I am wondering if there is any way you can help me.

@@HeatherFarris at the step “Pinterest wants to access your google account” there’s checkboxes that say “publish your google tag manager container version. I wasn’t really sure if to leave it unchecked or not
@@ariela_ yes give it access and it will create a container for you with the tag. You’ll then need to publish the changes on tag manager. Then add your thank you pages too for events.
This video is useful. But what if I need to triger the add to cart event? How could i set it in a right way? I've been working on this problem for so long. IT'S a little bit hard for me.

I’ve tried every method and it’s even told me that my Shopify store is connected but nothing still shows?? EDIT: I should also mention it said it could take up to 24 hours but a lot of videos I’ve seen online seemingly do it in minutes, I’m new to Pinterest so wasn’t sure if I was missing something. Thanks for the video, but that was way over my head (I'm a beginner). My Pinterest doesn't have some of the information you show on your screen. I'm so confused and hate to pay $90 for PixelYourSite to get this installed. It's still not working for me. AGH!
All of a sudden my Pintrest page is "Under Review" because I dont have this Conversion API tracking setup. So I start clicking to set it up.... and almost immediately it's asking to do all kinds of beyond technical jargin. Absolutely unreasonable for them to ask NORMAL people to start doing some sort of coding on their behalf. Fuming.
I don't understand. There seems to be many different ways to do this,..,which is best? This is so much more complicated than FB pixel. I don't even know where you are at 23 seconds...

No she can give you access to her google tag manager and analytics account through the user management section in the admin panel

What does google tag manager container versions mean
Each container contains tags. I think that’s what you’re asking. Let me know if you need clarification.
