- Facing jealousy as a Christian is something we all experience, that is not in question. Although, How we as Christians overcome jealousy and comparison is the great question we need to answer! Jealousy destroys you and your relationships, it creates bitterness and envy. Comparison will rob you of God's plan for your Life. The Bible makes this clear and gives us a way out, by the grace of Jesus Christ we can walk in freedom. Find out how as you engage in this video!

Oh yes, being jealous is a real thorn in the flesh…well, actually recognizing to be is. When I spot jealousy in my heart, I literally feel myself falling down from grace. Steps forward I’ve taken surrendering it to the Lord. The healing comes from sticking to the fact that, if you have faith, what God has in store for you, that you’ll have. So yes, there’s really no point comparing yourself to others
expectations = also a thief of joy... less expectations = less disappointments
Lord JESUS please hear my prayers.I’m struggling providing for my children. I’m so discouraged. As a single mom Lord Jesus I’m overwhelmed. I have two beautiful boys both are special needs. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets. Lord grant me strength while I struggle to buy groceries and while I struggle to pay rent each month. With you by my side Lord I know all is possible.💕
Without advocating Mormonism (I don't), if you have a Mormon bishop in your area, he has access to a Bishop's storehouse that can help with groceries and sundries. Mormon priests are legalist and often tend to put too much stock in church affiliation when it comes to being charitable, but it might be worth asking, and asking God. God bless you~!

I know that this life is difficult for you and that at times it seems like there is no where to go but always remember that the Lord is by your side he is walking with you and talking with you He knows your needs and will provide for them but you need to make sure you keep your eyes on Him because Jesus is the way the truth and the life and He will make a way for you and through this path He will bless you so stay strong and trust in Jesus

A therapist i watch on youtube, often quotes a phrase, it's not a bible verse .. but I'd say it is in agreement with a lot of Biblical principles..

I have often felt like the older son in the story. Seeing others make mistakes or do wrong, while I try hard to do everything asked of me…Often wondering why I am in a difficult place when I see others having happiness and success. Then I realized, I wasn’t doing work for God but for my own desires, or the desires others had for me. I was ignoring and dismissing my own sins. Even when I rediscovered God and began my walk with Christ, I had envy and bitterness during my pruning and wilderness seasons. But now I realize that Father was preparing me for something great. Now I can only strive to humble myself before the Lord and fulfill my own purpose, as the others I saw were fulfilling their purposes. God puts us through trials for a reason, so that we may learn and be set free. Thank you my dear Becky as your videos have long brought me encouragement and hope. In return I pray that your journey to another state to follow God’s will enlightens and blesses you. May He keep you and may you continue to live feeling his Love.🙏🏼💙🕊️
I've been watching your videos for a long time and been keeping up with them. They almost always have a profound effect on me and I am so very grateful of them. Thank you so much for this video Becky, it led me to alot of important realizations. I truly believe that God has annointed you to speak directly to many people through your ministry, and that I am one of them. There are not alot of Christians that have had as much as a deep impact in my life as you have. Great message! I don't know who once told me this, but when you give thanks to God, it's almost impossible to feel both jealousy or negative emotions towards Him at the same time. So a good way (I think) to let go of some of that frustration or jealousy is to simply thank Him. He works behind the scenes in ways we don't understand. Come to him with every emotion, especially when you don't want to talk to Him and be honest with Him. He wishes for nothing more than to hear from us on our best of days, our worst and anywhere in between.
To anyone to reads this, I hope and pray whatever struggle you have, that you bring it to the feet of the Lord. Don't leave out anything because he wants to listen, to help and to guide you.

It's true. Envy, pride and resentment are thieves of joy and are ultimately self-destructive anyway.

I've truly come to envy no one. I've found no matter what your situation, there is always a reason to complain. "That guy has the wife and kids I want" meanwhile he thinks "wish I didn't have all this responsibility". "That guy has a cool nice car!" meanwhile he thinks "wish this car note wasn't eating into my savings". Everything has a trade off.
Even the notion of "doing something big with your life". Many people who do "big things" rarely see their families.
This isn't to say "you can't have your cake and eat it!" but that there is always a way of convincing you that your cake sucks.
"How can I rejoice in where God has me, and not look to the things around me?" Good question. What you call envy & jealousy I frame as "coveting", and though I don't covet often, when I do, it's a bit formidable (it comes from the heart)! 😂😋Your lessons ring true, and for some reason, your vision of Heavenly Father's Love reaches me intuitively: I listen, and you're helping with this ministry, so take heart from that when you think about other places you'd like to be serving. I hope God answers the prayers of your heart, but until then, I'll pray for you even as your faithful lessons answer prayers for us out here in web-land~! Love you, Becky

I think for me jealousy comes in when others have family and kids, or even have just a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship and take it for granted. It’s important to me if and when I am rejected to still have joy for their joy and mourn when they mourn. I’d like to think that even if someone I fundamentally dislike, like Putin, could seek me out and receive help if s/he needed it-ITEC-style.

Wanting to fulfill your purpose in God for him and feeling like you’re not accomplishing fast enough is a lie of the enemy to get you disillusioned. Anything outside of him leads to no good. Becky as long as you keep seeking doing his will, you’re on the right path, and that’s between us and God most importantly. Jesus is our foundation. But it also says “the Lord whose name is jealous is a jealous God” which is in a loving way though.
I was dealing with this recently in some ways
I look at you , that is wonderful woman talk with Bible and talk things in the Bible . Sweet! Many sinner women don’t …. But you do study Bible, happy, talk things in your TH-cam .. you are wonderful! I am going to change and away from sinners women . I love Christian women. Wonderful ! Don’t worry you should not worry rapture will take you up to air for safety before horrible great tribulation sooner . God bless you ❤

Really surprised you experienced envy and compared yourself to others given how much you have accomplished since being saved and how much love and favor He has shown you. Whereas someone like me who has not accomplished anything and only experienced hardship and loneliness (which I’m now accepting will be lifelong given I’ve even been rejected by other Christians) which makes me think I was never saved. Well if He really does pursue His lost sheep like He says then I guess I’ll find out in due time.

I’m just tired of struggling and getting second best while everyone else around me is getting the things they want easily. What’s the point in wanting better and wanting to be blessed like Abraham if we’re not supposed to get it? If I’m supposed to not have any cares for the things of the world then how does that translate over to a career or are careers and calling separate and if so how do you know which is which?

I think it may also be helpful to discuss in the future what the Bible says about handling jealousy from others, dealing with persecution, or bearing with one another. As some examples, Joseph from his brothers, Jesus talking about how we should be exceedingly joyful when persecuted for his name, the Apostle John from the other disciples, Mary from Martha, Jacob from Esau, especially after wrestling with God and injuring his hip, Jesus from the Pharisees, the Book of Acts.
Here is another video idea that may be helpful to anyone randomly watching: secular western culture likes to frame relationships as what the Greeks of Antiquity would call Eros, but Jesus often uses the term Agape to describe love. Another video idea could be to make this distinction with examples in the Bible: Jesus and John, David and Jonathan, Mary and Jesus (contrasted with Martha and Jesus), the woman who cried over Jesus’ feet (Luke 7:36-50).
I think this video on jealousy was particularly helpful as it brought about conviction and reflection, at least in me. I’m still meditating on / digesting it. Praying God uses Becky to impact people’s lives and ultimately bring people to know and desire Him, entering in His Kingdom.

What does a Christian do who has been fully dependent on the social welfare system since an a young age, by a parent, even though the bible says God provides for His children and what if that welfare system forms partnerships with the enemy of God???

Just to show one of the differences of different interpretations, this is the King James Version of James ch 4, 1-3: From whence come wars and fighting among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and recieve not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Not saying that KJ V is the only good interpretation , but knowing this scripture from KJV I believe this verse is more accurate in the KJV. KJV is not as easy to read as other interpretations.
Looking up the defintions between the words lust and passion there are big differences.
