Barbara is extremely picky. She knows to get the cheapest deal, but she also puts in the work because the cheapest come with the least expertise, experience and knowledge.

You can make Barbara out jokes all you want ..but she is one of the shrewdest and business savvy shark on the show ..all her investments are hits !!
If you try a lot you'd make more mistakes then if you never tries. That's basic.
Mark and Lori made lots of investments in Shark Tank, yea sure some flops, but just check who accumulated the most successful deals in shark tank? Not Barbara, eventhough she made probably almost or the least flop investment.

it's interesting that Barbara passed over many other seemingly good products and took this "mediocre" product, but she turned out to be right.
Its only 50k. Cost of model 3 tesla. I would do it for 50k for 30% of the company as well if they knocked our door. But she did all the distribution so she saved the company
Maybe that intuition is why shes a millionaire and were not ?
It's not a mediocre product. The company was just in a really early stage and needed too much work from the sharks and appeared to need too much time to see a profit, which was why the others backed off. The product itself was pretty obviously great.
Barbara not accepting that 25% deal was really smart since she knew that they had no money so any deal involving money, they would take. Didn’t realize this until after they made their decision
That 5% is now a $5 million difference
They had 250 millions in sales as of 2018 and Barbara made 37 million out of a $50000 investment and still counting! Amazing
Barbara's biggest hit was something that should have been doomed to fail. It's like she's from a parallel universe where things are reversed.

Nobody wants to have their hand in everything I think they all not only invest in things they know will make money but also things they are interested in themselves.
Yea but she shouldn't make silly excuses for being out. Like dissing some girl who just graduated for having her dad supporting her financially while she's handling the product by herself, barbara was saying she doesn't have the drive to success cos she's supported by her dad. So barbara is saying her own kids are also not being able to success then since no way she's not paying for her kids education? Or anybody's kids who are supported by their parents during university don't have the drive to success then?

People thinks that Barbara ripped them off but actually NOT. Barbara just took a high risk investing on it thats why she got high return. The higher the risk the higher the return. Like, Barabara still invest even it doesnt have inventory, doesnt have any sales, even doesnt have website to sell it bu tBatbara still tokok the risk.
If they didnt invest with Barbra or any other Sharks, their company might be 0 or a failure now. Probably, Barbara didnt just give them 50k but also helped them through Marketing and connections thats why it was a success. Barbara may be marketed it that relates to her other business like online and real estate.m.

For 50,000 i would make that deal too. They have a lot of cash to spare and as the guys said they would do all the work. You can get back that 50K from your other investments if ot wint work out. Great job for Barbara and it sure pays off.
