- Today's mini-adventure takes us back to the Galiuro (guy-year-o's) Mountain range and the Bradberry Cabin. We've been this way before, about six months ago, and the trip had such spectacular scenery we had to come back. This time, though, we did the loop backwards. The loop is a little over 30 miles with the cabin about in the middle. Even though we had been here before, running it backwards was a completely different trip from the first time ... but just as beautiful!
Once you turn off Cascabel Road, it's a rough two track - but nothing technical, although four wheel drive is very useful and a bit of high clearance makes some spots a non-issue. Just one of the amazing parts of the trip was that we saw no one ... the entire loop! A beautiful, unseasonably warm, Saturday and we had the entire area to ourselves.
It was a great trip with great company! Thanks to Glenn Kelly for leading the way and thanks to Brad Newell for some video clips.
