Well.... I visited it a few times in the winter but preferred Benidorm but since seeing it in the summer I really like it now. I met a Spanish lady the who lives there so I guess I have fallen in love with her and her city too x
Hi , I live in Playa San Juan where you pointed out the “mountains” , in December /Jan there are days that they are covered in snow and looking at them with the beach in front on a sunny day is beautiful.
Watching this in alicante to see whats worth seeing! Great video particularly liked the rooftop bar/restaurant under the castle! Well done on a great alicante guide!
Hey Jonny! Really enjoyed your video on our first day in Alicante. Nice delivery and useful information. Don't get discouraged, keep pumping out the info, especially the financial advice... there are many people out here who want to hear what you have to share.
I have lived there in Alicante for a number of years, I know all them places, now I live in Denmark, colder and nice too, no more heat waves, lol, enjoy your stay
Ace video, we have a small lace in Alicante city centre and thought we knew the place pretty well, but you've shown me a few bars and restaurants I was completely unaware of. Thanks again, and keep up the great work
I will be in Alicante next week (coming from the States). I had never heard of it until one of my coworkers (we have an international team) moved there a few months ago; I'll be in Europe and decided to book a little side trip there. It looks very cool and low key and the prices seem very reasonable. I can't wait! I've been to Barcelona and Madrid but have yet to experience the smaller beach towns.
@@WitsEnds I loved it! The old town is very small and intimate; the views from Castillo Santa Barbara were amazing, and the hike up there was good excercise. It's a nice low key alternative to some of the bigger Spanish cities.
Thank you! I think the breakfast inc. coffee was around €4. Anywhere in the Alicante area is great... depends what you like? Beach? City? Mountains? Quiet? Busy?
What do you think of Alicante?
