- This took fucking forever to render. When it takes 1-2 hours to render and it fails halfway through every time, it gets old fast. Please don't complain about the red flashes because I don't know why they're there and don't care enough to remove them anymore. The background is an experiment with flstudio's zge visualizer.

This is where I think Soulless got its signature sound. Soulless 3 is the one that set it all up for me.
Hopecaster I still think 2 is great, and without the context it brought, 5 wouldn’t have been nearly as powerful, 1 is still garbage though
@@Cole-li7hq tbh I had no idea I made this comment but after three years, yeah. 2's pretty good, I'd say 2 laid a lotta the groundwork for what was to come, 3 solidified it for the future.
1 if the pitch were lowered a bit would be bearable to listen to. It's too high pitched is its biggest issue.
I totally agree, even after Soulless 1 brought the classic chord progressions, Soulless 2 complemented them with a lot of melodies and legendary sections of the chart; but in the end Soulless 3 has to be the winner when talking about “the soulless signature”.
Soulless 2 is where it all came from imo
Each song in the series is built off of a different song, however no song is built off of the original Soulless cause it’s trash

I personally use FL Studio, I've only really made 3-4 tracks with it and it's only the demo version (I'd love to update/modify/remake some of them but FLS is an ass sometimes)

I love what you did with the mixing, but I was not fan of the singing. When you're trying to do something like that, you either have to go all Kid A, or you tuck them off in the background. You kind of had them at such a volume that they conflicted with the guitar. You have decide what's more important. Also, I felt that the effects were kind of overdone. I would have liked if you had done something a little more freaky with it, like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.
Exile, your lyrics and singing are fucking amazing. I don't know why you'd even consider removing them.

I personally think that this is the best representation of the name soulless; it perfectly captures the robotic feel with the voice at the beginning, and has such a grim robotic feel to it. It's perfect

That was by far the best 1:07 minutes i've heard in an intro of a song so far
It tells quite the story
I see it as an AI that was created by people who did not understand how dangerous it is to have a sentient AI, but the AI itself knew that, but didn't care
Despite being sentient, the AI was cold hearted and probably masochistic because of their dislike for emotions
The creators either 1: see this AI as a failure or 2: seek to make a superior version of the AI
Meanwhile the AI is probably going insane over trying to contemplate emotions
Maybe a robot army was created and had annihilated humanity (like in the movie called 9, go google it, it's good)
And now it's contemplating whilst the world is only full of emotionless, soulless machines
OR MAYBE it's like portal, with the AI and maybe a character or protagonist being the only sentient things left
Either way, there's definitely a few pieces of this story missing, but i think it's awesome so far, might make a good plot for a game or movie
What makes it perfect is that it fits the name of the song too. Machines are soulless

If...I'm understanding how things work, Soulless 1 is the creation of the AI itself, with all the high-pitched beeping and more machine sounding tune, Soulless 2 is the creation of a body/computer system for the AI (As it's also titled Mechanical Machine), Soulless 3, as you said, is the AI contemplating itself, emotions, and it's creators. I want to say with Soulless 4 is the AI finding a purpose and plotting against...something, with the light piano followed by the heavy sinister tune (possibly against it's creators). Soulless 5 is the execution of it's plan, and upon getting rid of it's creators, it begins to make itself a new body, or more of itself (Seeing how 2 and 5 have that same intro and, as I established, Soulless 2 being it's form's creation). As Soulless 6 isn't released yet, and we can only speculate, this is a little more of a stretch. But, with what we hear of S6 being a mix between S3, 4, and 5, I want to say that S6 is the AI dominating the planet or going to war with...something. Though, this could just be me looking too far into funny rhythm game.

Gonna be honest, this is the first time a guitar hero song gave me goosebumps. Real, genuine goosebumps. Those lyrics fit the song perfectly, and gives a tale over a message. Which is why I think that soulless 3 is the best of the series

This song seems to be about the first aritificial intelligence that had emotions; however, it was seen as a threat, an emotional and soulless creation, leaving all logical thought meaningless. It was abandoned for a more efficeint machine, one without emotion, rendering this one obsolete.

Why does no one play this version?? There is not only voice that's changed (this is debatably a good or bad addition depending on whether you prefer the pure instruments) but you can tell the music is so much better, instruments and melodies added / changed and it's amazing.
Fun fact, if you re-export Soulless 3 Redux from the project file, it sounds just like this version, so something happened after post production or something, or for some reason the ACTUAL soulless 3 redux project file isn’t public? Idk

The rediculous solo break at 4:30 and the chimneys at 4:57 are the two most epic things i have ever heard... So much about this version is better, all the fast stuff sounds cooler, this is one of my favorite songs now, and not just guitar hero, i am addicted to this song!!!
Believe it or not, that section is one of the easiest parts of the solo. A hard part would be 4:55 to 5:05 in my opinion.
