We went to Japan last year, are going back again this year and hopefully many more times in the years to come! 🤩 So we listened to a ton of videos like this from Japan and yours are really very well done! Bravo! The technique and your material is particularly excellent with good rapid focus changes on close-ups of food, many TH-camrs have difficulty achieving this this well. Also great close-ups when you are cutting and presenting the food! What gears are you using? If it is not too indiscreet? Once again, well done! 👍

Thank you very much for the kind words and I'm delighted to hear that you're an avid fan of all things Japan. I'm still kind of a word in progress, but it's so wonderful when I receive compliments on how the videos are put together.
The gear that I use is really quite simple and everything is shot on my SONY a6300 camera. I also have a pretty big LED light with a softbox and I'm using a TASCAM DR-10L microphone for the sound.
