- Here is a song called A Father's Wrath | Poseidon's Song
A deeper look into what goes through Poseidon when Polyphemus tells him about Odysseus and how he blinded him.
I'd like to mention @Alt........138 for the idea, I hope this satisfies the hunger.
Now out on Spotify!

Inspired by EPIC the musical, created by Jorge Rivera-Herrans. I look forward to more from him in the future.
Please enjoy.

Lyrics:
My son calls through darkness tonight
His pain echoes across the seas
"Father, they have taken my sight!"
What mortal dares such deeds?
Nobody? No... Odysseus
That name now burns like salt
In wounds that call for vengeance
This crime must halt
Ruthlessness is mercy
Upon ourselves, my son
I'll teach this lesson dearly
To the clever one
Let him learn what happens
When you cross a father's line
The sea will be his prison
Till the end of time
You speak of mercy shown to you?
Of chances he could take?
Such weakness from my flesh and blood
Makes even my heart break
No god can let such insult stand
No father worth his salt
Would let his son's pain go unpaid
This is their fault
Ruthlessness is mercy
Upon ourselves, my son
I'll teach this lesson dearly
To the clever one
Let him learn what happens
When you cross a father's line
The sea will be his prison
Till the end of time
The waves rise up to meet my rage
The storms bend to my will
Each drop of water in my realm
Now hungers for the kill
Let him sail for twenty years
Let him lose it all
Till ruthlessness is all he knows
Before his fall
Ruthlessness is mercy
Upon ourselves, my son
I'll teach this lesson dearly
To the clever one
Let him learn what happens
When you cross a father's line
The sea will be his prison
Till the end of time
My son pleads for mercy now
But mercy made him blind
I'll show him how a god responds
When mortals cross the line
Let Odysseus be the lesson
That my child must learn
When mercy meets divinity
Watch oceans burn
Ruthlessness is mercy
Upon ourselves, I swear
I'll make his journey worthy
Of my son's despair
Let him learn what happens
When you cross a father's line
The sea will be his prison
Till the end of time
Nobody dares blind my son
And lives to tell the tale
Odysseus, your journey's done
Your story ends in gale
Ruthlessness is mercy
And mercy's what you'll pay
Till you learn the meaning
Of a god's dismay

Hold on posiedon don't catch these 600 strikes
Originally, Odysseus didn't beat Poseidon. He negotiated with Poseidon, offering him yearly tribute and sacrifice.
@j-dawg4774 damn guess he got the easy way
@@hordelord4759 Well, it had been 10 years, both of them were tired, and Odysseus realistically doesn't stand a chance against the 2nd strongest Greek God, even with the wind bag. The wind bag has a fraction of Poseidon's storm, while Poseidon has literally everything else. It was just a story decision made to create some poetic justice.
@@j-dawg4774Fair enough of a point. My counterpoint, Poseidon won, Odysseus is now cursed, forever stained by Ruthlessness and never to be the man he was again. Never to see Elysium or even Asphodel, for his sins Hades shall drag him to Tarturus for his crew mates to judge him and only in their forgiveness shall Odysseus be free.
@lucasshuyler8696 Firstly, he never cursed Odysseus. I saw the "next to my wife" line coming because although he is traumatized, it was all worth it to get back to his wife, and secondly, I can't name a single sin that was completely unjustified. I'd say he's earned his spot in Elysium.
Even though poesidon doesn't kill ody, in tje end he still won because ody will forever be haunted by the memories of his men and he will always be haunted by the sea.
Sometimes living is more of a punishment than death.
Na ody is sleeping next to his wife
SOMEONE TAG JORGE RIVERA- HERRANS IN THISSSSSS
