Literally why are you the only one doing these kinds of videos. I have a special needs hen who needs to brought inside daily because she cannot eat and drink on her own due to somehow breaking her bottom beak during hatch or shortly after before the beak had hardened, causing the lower mandible to grow crooked (this is the vet’s theory of what happened. He was confident that it was not a genetic cross-beak due to the appearance and progression). As a chick she could eat and drink on her own but today her beak is at a 90 degree angle so she needs help to groom, eat and drink. It’s extremely helpful for those of us that take care of birds like her to have resources like your videos to guide us in the direction of good products. I don’t have a ton of money and wouldn’t be able to care for her if I had to spend hundreds on diapers that did not end up fitting, so thank you for donating your time and money and also for posting it online for others to see!
I have a couple of "rescue" hens that I got as adults that will have nothing to do with my husband, so we got him his very own special little baby chicken, a silver laced wyandotte named Britney. She is about 7 weeks old now and just adores him and she is his baby. Thank you very much for this video, we definitely need to get some diapers for her bc she has been coming in every night and this will help greatly. We appreciate the info!
I'm new to chicken diapers. This is super helpful, after loosing 13 chickens a few weeks ago I really don't want to risk my favorite chickens so my hubby suggested we keep them inside. Omg yes he did lol I love that man and my chickens!
You missed a great one!!! There is a lady called Bev Letard (on Facebook) in South Africa who runs Bevs Bird Boutique. She sews diapers mainly for pigeons, and now parrots... HOWEVER, I have found that Sebright Bantams and Old English Game Bantams fit brilliantly into her BBB suits, and they have the most open back of any suit on the market. Macaw size ! Jumbo or Massive, depending on bantams heft. Please try out her stuff- They are great for all 3 species (no I am not paid to rave about them, I'm just an Avian Assistance Animal trainer who uses them loads, and has tried all varieties.) Fantastic reviews, lovely to see another house chook!
Usually hen make home dirty and I have been looking for such diaper since long. It made me much happy to find such exclusive idea of chicken diaper as it can keep the surroundings clean
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I appreciate the thought you put into it and the information you’ve provided. Much love to you and Ren! ❤️❤️❤️
Bananas! Great video and helpful reviews and demo from someone who actually uses these products. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences!
Thank you so much for this vid! I got my first nappy/diaper (I’m in the UK) for my Silkie girl Daisy today! I’ve not tried it yet, the last one was too small, so I had to wait for the next size up! After watching this, I’m worried as it’s not adjustable! It’s a “Pamper your poultry” one, I’ll have to try it in a while, and see if this one fits! Being in the UK, people think I’m crazy for bringing her in at night, but she gets cold, as she doesn’t sleep with my other 2 hens, and they don’t particularly like her! She’s on antibiotics for the second time for a respiratory infection, and I love her so much, and worry about her. I love watching your vids with your beautiful little chooks! xxx
I've never tried that brand! You're looking out for her best interest bringing her inside to stay warm and recover from infection ❤ I fully support that
I got 2 chickens nd two Roosters until I found out that I couldn't clean shit nd my house was smelling crazy ... I m regretting on not using them diapers nd this awesome channel, I wish you were there 2 months back when I had them for 15 days nd then I gave them back cuz my mommy was like you will make other pets ( rabbits nd Guinea pigs sick, along with us... because of the poop smelling bad , 😐)they used to follow me I was a member of their folk nd it was soo beautiful time which I had with them . They were best pet ever ( when I'll get enough info nd money to try on diapers nd all I'll adopt them again ) thanks to this channel ❤️👁️👁️ keep going
Thank you so much for the video! I have a Jersey giant chicken That will be 11 to 12 pounds is ounce probably and a porcelain D'uccle That will be about one pound. lol They both come inside and sleep inside it night. Thank you for the diaper reviews.
So exciting to see these! They remind me of doggy belly bands for male dogs that mark. It's an basically a strap that covers their little tic tac and are a savior!! I added a femine pad in it and removed it and put a new one in and it was super easy. Is that something that could be done in h chicken diapers? Not sure if I understand the workings of one yet?
@@renthehousehen She is the cutest little crevacour. Random breed that I had no idea what I was getting. She looks like she has a big black round wig on. It's hysterical but her poopies aren't so funny. Ughhhh She LOVES blueberries and that's exactly what comes out but nasty. She also LOVES her watermelon, cottage cheese and yogurt.

@@renthehousehen I can’t get the Huggable one to pop up. But my member request is pending in the other two! The house ducks, chickens + more one it’s been pending for a month 😂
Hey thank you so much for the video! I have a few questions, I have two baby polish chickens who I’m going to be keeping in my room right now I have them set up in a puppy playpin with a lid heat lamp a dig box water food every essential chicken need but they poop everywhere so I can’t have them out much and I would love to have them out more but do you have any idea where I could find a diaper for chicks? I want to desensitize them from diapers so they won’t be scared. Thank you In advance!
Hi thank you so much for taking your time amazing video I was wondering do you know any online store I can buy Chicken feed i’ve looked on Amazon and a lot of different websites but I can’t find any good feed do you have any good suggestions?
Is there chicken diapers that will fit Cochin's?? I ordered fertilized Cochin eggs through the mail not too long ago and I'm going to keep them as inside chickens, they're going to be spoiled and living their best life lol Hopefully you or someone can tell me if there are any that will fit that breed so they can free range in my home without getting poo all over the place
@@renthehousehen Oh ok thank you so much, that truly helps!! They'll be hatching January 19th so I'm a VERY nervous first time momma hen and want to do everything right before they hatch into the world🥴 Any info helps so again thank you for your reply ❤❤
Just have to ask....has anyone that uses diapers on their house hen, has she ever laid an egg in the pouch? You'd think this might be an issue somewhere along the house chicken road....

Yes, you can add some tissue in there if a bird has particularly wet poop!

@@guinealumps8736 how did this go? Did you find diapers that work for your cochins?
Just have to ask....has anyone that uses diapers on their house hen, has she ever laid an egg in the pouch? You'd think this might be an issue somewhere along the house chicken road....
Yes, you have to use a diaper that is big enough to catch the egg plus some poop. Or, when you know they're going to lay, take the diaper off.
Wanted to confirm something. Will you be able to tell me if medium size birds' diapers work for chickens as well?
Yes, a Jumbo parrot size Avian Fashions will fit a Sebright Bantam. You can work out your chickens species up from there.
