    You’re the first to address the issue of checking tire interference. The other issue is what happens when you add gobs of front wheel width, all on the outside? Seems like that would really screw up your steering geometry and handling! Looks are one thing, but handling is another.

      It actually handles excellent!

    I love this kind of stuff. I know it's time lapsed, but how long did all this take in real time?

    • @stealthbuilt1
      @stealthbuilt1  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I couldn't tell you for sure because I typically work on the Audi project between other jobs in the shop. I can say that it seems I get about 45 seconds to 1 minute of content from about an hours worth of time lapse recording. If I was to work on this car solid for two weeks straight, I think it could be close to done.

      I was thinking some competition style seats and converting all of the woodgrain to carbon fiber might be cool. Do you think others would want to see us demonstrate carbon fiber overlay techniques?

      Keen to see you do the carbon!

    Well you make it look easy, except you have a fantastic eye for detail. One question regarding the rear door, how would you reinforce the the door section of the flare as it looks kinda flimsy when open? Plus how much you charging for rides?

    • @stealthbuilt1
      @stealthbuilt1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everything you see on the car right now will be turned into molds to make new parts. The new parts will be attached with a bonding glue. The same type of glue that new cars are assembled using.

    • @MaddMattsGarage
      @MaddMattsGarage ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stealthbuilt1 you wouldn't consider fabricating a new rear door skin and then rebond it?

    How long do you let the glue harden before the tape is applied?

    • @stealthbuilt1
      @stealthbuilt1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is hot glue, once it cools you can apply tape. 2-3 minutes.
