- In this Rhino tutorial, I will show you how you can model the 2000 Japan Pavilion (by Shigeru Ban) with Rhino. First, we will make a parametric surface with record history and then we will make the pipes by contour.

this is a very practical tutorial. it shows two useful functions of rhino, one is record history , and another is flow along surface, which most of other 3d softwares can't do.
this was a cool video, nice pace and not too long! Keep them coming!
THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Thank you so much.
This video my day ...Thank you for making it simpler for amateurs ..😊
Welcome
Hello sir, can you make the tutorial on how to connect similar two tunnel as they are at distance and with diffrent elevation with multiple roadway along the z-axis. I will be very pleased to get the video. By the way i like the video and the way of your teaching. Thanks
thank you for this great video it helped a LOT
Thank you for the amazing tutorial
You're welcome :)
واقعا ممنونم - همیشه موفق باشید
What is a name of plugin ? These red and blue ikons on the left upper tab ?
It was helpful. Thank you!
Could you o this in Grasshopper to iterate quickly?
THIS HELPED ME ALOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT................. THNKU SOOO MUCH...... KEEP IT UP
Most welcome 😊
Great video!! Quick question: How to change the shape of the surface by dragging the curve at 1:56? A little bit confused :(
Thanks :) be sure to hit the record history button ( down right ) before you run loft
@@ParametricHouse after lofting, the record history tab goes unchecked again and it won't work
This is awesome thanks heaps! keep it up
Thank you so much , it was very useful
Glad to hear that
very helpful!
You're welcome 👋
Quite cool
😊🙏
Why the loft is not appearing in my rhino?
I can't get the surface to flow smoothly, when I scale it scales with sharp angles?
If anyone is wondering, I figured it out and in my loft settings I had "straight sections" selected not "normal"
seems you have solved the problem 👍😉
thank you very much
For some reason when I scale its not curved... does anyone know what could be the problem? I repeat exactly the same steps
@hessein vahebi Thank you so much!
Thank you thank you
You're welcome
Wow without grasshopper
👋
Why you changed the u,v to 30 each?, I dont understand how this affected the whole process
Rebuild is good to simplify a surface shape, remove sharp or dense parts of surface, or for making surfaces compatible (like for tweening) in control point count. If you zoom in you can see the difference before and after rebuilding a surface.
i dont have the unrollsrfuv command. im using rhino 4.. what can i do instead?
Draw a rectangle and draw your geometry then flow
For some reason, I am not able to scale it.
Be sure to record the history
change view before trimming ^^
Try slowing down, some of us are trying to learn from you, stop showing off
oh sorry :D
