I do love seeing the original games being played, the remakes are fine enough but the original crunchy playstation graphics just make me feel warm and fuzzy.
All the constant giggling in the background somehow made this even more enjoyable. Also, you have my sincerest condolences when you get to the Crash Bash 100% stream. The Platinum Relics are absolute _bastards_ in that game. Winning thrice in a row is so much easier when every CPU player isn't _actively ganging up on you._
Can you 100% that game solo? I know there's a bonus game if you finish it in 2 player, with one of you as a hero and one as a villain. But I don't know if it counts for completion.
This is the kind of content I was hoping for when I turned notifications on ages ago. I'm not a big fan of the Oddworld games, but I'll happily watch Caddy play CTR for like 20 hours.
Caddy the story makes perfect sense: the bosses want to challenge Oxide themselves, Pinstripe even says he wants to get payed for doing it. You as the selected character need to win EVERY race to demostrate you're the fastest racer, only then you can challenge Oxide. Nitro-Fueled actually makes no sense since you can change character at any point and you can even play as aliens in that one.
My favorite part of Nitro-Fueled is getting to play the entire adventure mode AS NITROS, because the entire pretense of having a plot just completely falls apart
2 things: 1. Crash (and every character for that matter) can make it over the papu’s pyramid hairpin turn skip shortcut with 3 boosts and a well timed jump 2. The timing of your power slide boosts does not affect overall speed, but it DOES affect how long the boost lasts
So, what I believe Caddy was going to say before he was cut off by Oxide was that he didn't understand the story of this game and why you're racing people in order to vs Oxide. The answer is that Oxide is challanging the fastest racer on the planet and if they lose he claims ownership of it. Everyone is racing one another to find the fastest racer for the best chance at Oxide, that and the selfish reason of getting to be the person who claims they were the one to do it. I assume the bosses are the ones who've proved themselves worthy of racing him already. edit: He asks it later again
I'm going to assume that when Caddy does a Let's Play session of Crash Bash, he will not choose Gorilla Monkey Anus Face (AKA Rilla Roo) in the adventure mode.

Caddy, do you know that there's a huge shortcut in the Oxide's Station race? If I remember right, it saves almost 1 minute on each lap. It's not an official shortcut (so it could be removed from the Nitro-Fueled) but it can be performed so easily in every lap. In the original Playstation 1 game I always was using it. You can easily beat Oxide and get Platinum relics with amazing time. You can find it in some videos about Crash Team Racing shortcuts on youtube.

I've actually started playing this one a while ago, trying to get the hang of the controls, but I got the first three trophies without much trouble, and it's been fun so far! After that, I just need to keep on experimenting to try and do some advanced moves, and attempt the challenges as well.

But to be honest I actually raged more in the gem challenges with strict time limts as well, like drain bash.

Update (April 30th 2022): I now have CTR Nitro-Fueled Oxide Edition, which was a B to get (had to download it from the eShop as a last resort). Also got scammed trying to get it because my colleague who found a physical copy for me (and who told me she is great at reading people's intentions), handled all the talking to said scammer, so I assumed she did a background check on said person. Spoiler alert: she did not and I lost nearly 60 euros, which feels really sour because I basically gave a dishonest person (who probably does this often) more money. Also there's no way the bank has a way to force the scammer to pay it back, which is also kinda effed up (you'd think they'd find a solution for that pretty quickly). But anyway, Cortex and N. Gin do look kinda odd/off in Nitro-Fueled. Cortex kinda grew on me a bit, but I do prefer his model in It's About Time. Same with N. Gin, although I'm not quite used to his Nitro-Fueled design yet. Can't wait until I can get Megumi, I'd love to play as her, she's really pretty :3
Music messing up is common on old PS1 discs? I thought my copy of Tombi 2 was weird when the music refused to loop. Instead, it started this muffled version that lacks some instruments. Speaking of...some 100% playthroughs of the Tombi games could be fun. Well, 102% for Tombi 2.

His current internet can't handle high quality gameplay and a high quality face cam, so a while back when his streams had issues, it was mainly due to that. He said as some point during the summer, he said he is going to get upgraded internet. When he does, he will try it with facecam; but if he runs into the same issues, he will just not have facecam ever.
