    Excellent video. I got stupid question, which pipe is return pipe to transmission? Bottom or top? Just to drain the remaining old trans fluid from a torq converter. Thanks Thomas

    Great vid, this is a must have for any 4x4 with an auto.
    Quick one, whereabouts is the breather on the triton auto trans (MR/MQ)?

    • @WholesaleAutomatics
      @WholesaleAutomatics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The MQ is a 5 Speed A750F Auto while the MR is a 6 Speed AC60 auto from the same manufacturer. The breather for both are above the transmissions main case up towards where the bell housing joins the main centre section of the transmission.

    Hey guys, good clip. I thought triton came with a transmission cooler from factory. Is this an upgraded one?

    • @WholesaleAutomatics
      @WholesaleAutomatics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We still run the original cooler but it’s a little small and in the case of the MN in a very poor position. We add the new cooler as an additional as these transmissions can get to 120c very quickly when towing or loaded up. We have owned a few Tritons and an Auxiliary cooler is a must have.

    How similar is the process for a Pajero Sport, a MY21 QF?

      @WholesaleAutomatics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure if this kits fits the Sport sorry Grant. I wouldn't have thought so.

    Will this help with keeping the engine cooler whilst beach driving?

    off topic- is it possible to change atf fluid of 4n15 triton via atf cooler hose?

    • @WholesaleAutomatics
      @WholesaleAutomatics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but more difficult and would only change the oil not the oil filter. I woud recomend full transmission service with full change of oil.

    Hi, is there any reason why you didnt take the front grill off first?

    • @WholesaleAutomatics
      @WholesaleAutomatics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If they're fairly easy to do without removing the grill, then we try to minimize any unnecessary steps.

    how much transmjssion fluid you add up during the process?

    • @WholesaleAutomatics
      @WholesaleAutomatics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Between .5 - 1L depending on what the exact oil level was prier to the cooler install. 1L will cover you fairly well.

    what is acceptable temps for the auto?

    • @KarlEller
      @KarlEller 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm also curious about this too, I've seen mine get up over 100°C (slow speed off-road in 4Hi where I probably should have changed to 4Low) without towing anything, and it'd be good to know when I should start getting concerned.

      Can you stop the cooler from running through the radiator. If it runs through the radiator wont it always be around the temp of the radiator?
