I don't know what it is about lust. I can't denial or push away that part in me, yet until now it's thirst seems to be unquenchable. But the problem seems to come from some sort of resistance to that part, not so much from the part itself? As if it will not be quiet until it's truly free. These patterns are so strange and yet so common, especially here in the west. The flames of desire are being fanned all the time and everywhere, at the same time there is this cloath of guilt and shame around it, not allowing it to just dance freely. Actually it wouldn't even be something so dense or tight as what we call "lust" if it would just be flowing naturally, right? I feel there's also a surrender needed on some level, to just let this force of nature dance it's dance in what I really am, allowing it to erode these old stones of guilt, to flush out these fences of conditioning, to break these walls of "what we're supposed to be and what not". Although it's not an easy road at all to face all of what we find in giving it the space it needs... ❤️‍🔥
