- GaMetal takes on Prometheus and Pandora with this cover of Trap Phantasm from Mega Man ZX Advent!
I promised you all I'd be getting into the ZX series this year, so here you go! Trap Phantasm is Prometheus and Pandora's theme from ZX Advent. It originally appeared in ZX as Trap Factory. Phantasm has a few differences in the way some of the rhythm is structured, and also includes a couple of pretty awesome guitar solos. It's personally my favorite version of P&P's theme.
I suppose next time we get to Mega Man, we should go to the Zero series.. or maybe something else like Battle Network. What do you think? Let me know! :)

There is one downside to owning the Z/ZX collection version. Do you remember the battle network enemies you can fight in cyberspace, back in MM Zero 3? Yeah, you don't gain access to that. Very surprised there is no Z card which allows you to fight those enemies. Yet you get a Z card which puts a picture of Megaman exe in the resistance base on walls. Strange decision on Capcom's part.
Thing is, they only cut 2% of MMZ3, so its not that big of a deal.
Good lord this game is so underrated it hurts my soul.

I fucking love Megaman ZX, played it the first time like 7-8 years ago and replayed it 10+ times. Its an great DS game (both ZX and ZX Advent). Its too bad they didnt bring out another sequel, even though the secret ending of Advent clearly showed there could be more in near future.

news stating that Capcom wanted to revive some franchises that have been inactive for a while. I'm hoping that the ZX series is among one of those games along with the Darkstalkers series... Hell, I still need to play Advent lol.
That would be great. Its never to late to revive megaman. I really prefer the newer megaman games, like starforce, ZX or like Zero, Battle Network. But I accept every megaman game they could possible deliever. I hope its true and it doesnt get cancelled then, like the last 5 or so games.
Yeah, and I feel like after the criticism Mighty No. 9 got, people want a new MegaMan game now more than ever. I'm personally hoping for something like a Megaman ZX collection for two reasons: so i can finally play Advent and to ignite some interest in a ZX sequel.

@@vocalcalibration8033 I know it's been two years. But a podcast with some workers confirmed that they were making a sequel(called ZXC btw). But they stopped making it when they went half way through. They said that the primary reason was that ZX and ZXA didnt have good sale numbers. SO sadly we wont have a sequel. Its sad. Such a good saga :(

Aside from the fanservice, the games are good. Funny, enjoyable and with a lot of game references. This franchise makes parodies of everything about videogames (e.g.. characters are based on Sega, PlayStation, Nintendo and XBox).
