- GaMetal's going to war with this funky remake of Sturm's Theme from Advance Wars!
We had a GBA song last week, so how about another one? Sturm's Theme is one of the sexiest songs from the GBA song library. I had to keep the funkyness alive in this one.

This is the theme of a CO who's been beaten by a kid who has no idea what an airport is.

Ironically, Andy has to be the weakest and most useless CO in the Final Battle.
The other two OCs do most of the work while Andy simply meat blocks most of the time.

I just had a realization if they are making metal soundtrack of the co theme for their powers what will metal Sonja them sound like
I've seen many metal covers of this theme, and until now not one ever properly captured the essence of the original. They just never understood how important that bassline is to this song. So thank you.
Apparently in re-bootcamp when a power is activated instead of playing the generic power theme it played in the originals, it plays an amped up version of the character's theme. I can only hope Sturm's re-bootcamp power theme is something like this :)

Someone uploaded a really good acoustic cover of Grits theme if you're wanting one, although I too would love a Johnny version.

I recently stumbled across Dar's cover of the Tag power theme. It's pretty lovely. As is VanEedenProject's cover of the Super CO Power theme.

I suddenly feel the urge of hearing a version of Lash's and Senei's theme.
Sensei's remix could be his theme then he was a young CO, who everybody was afraid of.
This remix was awesome! I'm so happy someone else remembers these games. They were fantastic additions to the GBA/DS. I really hope we see a revival of the franchise sometime soon on the 3DS or Switch.

I had a major WTF moment when I saw the thumbnail; never would've expected the legendary Sturm's theme (a theme that definitely ranks as one of my favorite CO themes).
But then this video went and showed why it always should have been a thing~ And I must say, this is probably one of your best!
I love how all the game footage was basically just Sturm's forces absolutely destroying everyone else. Very much fits.

I will always remember my first encounter with his meteor strike playing this game as a kid. Truly terrifying, watching Andy’s forces get obliterated and swept up in his tide of units.. that last mission in AW1 was one of the best moments in my personal gaming history.
Sturm's Theme returns in December with the remake, never thought the madlads would revive advance wars, now hopefully they balance some of the COs though T.T
As this is EASILY my favorite track of the franchise, I must say, FANTASTIC good job nailing this down! Especially the opening bit! What I especially loved about the theme is that... well... you MAY not notice it at first, but it actually COMBINES elements from each of the other Black Hole COs into one BADASS theme. Of course, the only real reason I can think of that I noticed this was because I had started the franchise with Advance Wars 2, not the original, but hey, that's what we had at the time. Still, though...

Dude, yes. Sturm's theme was stuck in my head forever after that last mission in the first game. Great cover, as always. You should definitely hit up some of the Days of Ruin themes. Oh, and "Comona" from Ace Combat 4. Just gotta keep plugging that.
