- We're headed back to the Mega Man Zero universe to take on Dr. Weil with this remix of Falling Down, the final battle theme from Mega Man Zero 4!
Mega Man requests have always been hot 'round these parts, placing #7 in most requested series from the GaMetal 2019 song ballot. There's always a broad range of Mega Man songs requested both from the ballot and from comments in general, but one of the most requested I've seen is Falling Down from MMZ4.
I pit this song against another MMZ song in a GaMetal Discord Request Battle (if you don't know what I'm talking about... perhaps you should join the GaMetal Discord [link below] and find out!), and it secured a fairly comfortable victory, so it's about time we get to the what may be the most requested Mega Man song at the moment. It took Dr. Wily's greatest creation to cement Dr. Light's dream, and he did it by legally going maverick. And it all ended on this glorious song.
...how ironic, considering Wily's original goal in the end was to get Zero to go Maverick permanently.

The destruction was his attempt to get it, but in reality he was an egomaniac who simply craved the positive attention that he believed that he deserved. The ending make me cry as a kid and it's seriously truly had a good ending unlike the other part of the series Megaman series that never got their ending conclusion
Outside of the Zero series the best endings are 7, X1 and X5 (if you ignore X6)

@@FriendlyFloyd7 Keiji did intend the X series to officially end with X5 so it could transition into the Zero series. Unfortunately, Capcom had already decided they wanted another game to make more money and had a team working on it behind Keiji's back.

This song actually brings a tear to my eye... It's so finite, so dramatic.. it really captures how dire this situation is, and not just because it is the final battle between Dr. Weil and Zero, but the final battle for the last piece of Nature, the final mission for Zero, willing to give his life for the future of mankind and reploid alike, not to be a hero, but because it's just his mission.
What a way to finish one of the most threatening battles of all Megaman series, in a timed-limit final boss fight. Zero's words here are incredible: he doesn't care if he's called a menace, a renegade or a hero. He will always fight for the people that believe in him. He made a promise to a friend that he will protect the world, one enemy at a time.
Ciel's words here were so breathtaking - we see how much she cared about him - and Weil's laugh (thank you Chikao Otsuka) will forever be amazing.

A truly underrated side series

Megaman Zero 3 my favorite one in the series, followed by 4 1 and 2.
My favorite is personally 4, but I gladly admit that Zero 3 is the best zero game. Heck I would say its really up there for best megaman game
@@loyalcav1575 4 was very good, it had the best main boss theme imo. And it's very close to 3 as well, that's why it's my second favorite. 3 was just perfect to me, it had it all. 2 is only last, because the final boss don't hold a candle to the other ones.
@@flopping4life420 yeah like I really like Elpizo as a broken reploid but the boss fight didn't hold up. Also yeah I love Zero 4 to death cause it really got me into the megaman series as a whole. Plus I love the story there the most too talking to the settlement. It was one of those video games that I really wanted to save everyone.

Its kind of funny, i remeber playing megaman zero a long time ago, and it got me thinking.
Dr wily created Zero to destroy the planet since if he couldnt rule it, then nobody will, but ultimately, the being born to be the destroyer of all life on earth, became a protector and near the end, the worlds saviour, i call that poetic justice/irony if i ever seen one.
yeah but wily still won cause humans were forced into space and then died out in the megaman legend games. zero may have won the battle, but wily won the entire war.
