Hi, the videos are really helpful, i would like to know how an RN can become a quality improvement nurse and what are the courses or the pathway needed, if you could do a video on this it would be really beneficial
Thank you for the feedback, I'll see if I can get a quality improvement nurse to talk through their career.
Please ma, I would like to study nursing via associate or apprenticeship procedure , I am from Nigeria and currently reside in Nigeria so please how can I go for this studies through an employer
The trainee nursing asociate role is a paid 2 year trainee post that you apply for e.g. through the website 'NHS Jobs'. It will state all the requirements for application on the person specification as they may be different across employers. I hope that helps.
Would the university help with finding an employer for the RN apprenticeship?
Lots of Universities are linked to employers and if you contact the apprentice course leads they will usually let you know which employers offer apprenticeships locally Rachel. Keep an eye out for apprenticeship events where employers and Universities advertise their apprenticeships too.
@@carolforde-johnston thankyou so much that has really helped. Many thanks 😀
@@racheltomlinson9677 No problem, wishing you all the best with any future applications and interviews.
Madam how many IELTS we have ?
Hi, you must check on the application and job description when you apply for the short listing criteria.
Hi can you get into a registered nursing apprenticeship straight after studying a btec
Most Unis accept BTEC as part of entrance criteria instead of A levels but they often ask for applicants to be employed in a healthcare role or have healthcare experience e.g. health care assistant role. Have a look on job sites and you will see apprenticeship roles advertised. You may find some that don't ask for prior experience but I know many in 2023/ 2024 asked for prior experience. Each Uni/ employer has it's own application criteria though so it's worth checking them out. Wishing you all the best with your application.
@@carolforde-johnston in my btec course i did 100 hours of placement
@@orangejuice988 That's really good and should count as healthcare experience. You can always double check with course leads if unsure.
@@carolforde-johnston thats only placement? Im not really sure if it will allow me to get straight into an rnda do i have to do a tna first? And if i apply through a university with not trust do i still get payed through that course?
@@orangejuice988 Yes you'd need to check with recruiting lead if they accept placements. You can do tna and top up to rnda but if you may get rnda place without tna.
