Hi! Master Armin. 🤩 it is always a pleasure to have a good cup of coffee in the morning seeing a new review. Another nice Korean Bow, looks very promising. Thank you always for your time and your honest reviews.. Enjoy the ranch day. Cheers to all In Malta 🙏
I bought two YMG fiberglass bows and they are very nice. I like the efficiency for their size and the flexibility. The nylon bag that comes with the bow is also very convenient for the transport of the bow and accessories.
I assume that price includes postage from Freddie Archery as the black shadow is the same price, but I've found the black shadow on sale in the UK all be it only in the 48" version with no sleeve and fancy paperwork for £136. Still another great looking bow though.
Jumpin Blue Flash itsa gaz, gaz, Gazza Chynne! Awesome Bow and Review, so fast if You miss the Arrow is Destroyed or done the Harry! Great review Armi, nobody can sell Our minds better, unreal show thanks.
Greetings Armin. Regarding the arrow weight for korean bows. i asked arrowforge the same question for my KTB by Freddy archery. According to them its about 7-7,5 gpp.
Hello, how are you, I want to buy a Korean bow and I am between the Freddie Archery (ex Nomad) KTB and the Daylie PHOENIX, which one do you recommend? Greetings.
Larger Korean bow with a big Oomph! Nice to see that the bows also have a size option. Would be great if the max draw length was on the page too, but I guess that's based on the bow size. Are the models very different from each other, Or is is mostly visual?
What do you think about the Black Shadow by Korean Bows. I have an Elite Valor Bear Compound Bow and want to start shooting traditional recurve for hunting.
Thanks for your fantastic review as always sir! I was wondering, do you have a asiatic now recommendation for a person who can only reach 29” or maybe 30” for full draw (thumb of course). Thanks for all your help from Canada!
I have a few bows from Freddy archery. I love shooting them, but the arrow past isn't real ray skin and they wear out within a week of shooting every day.
If He gives it enough Stars Daan, get one, choice is easy, if Armin says its good it is! My wall has half a dozen Bows He has reviewed. Choice is quite easy? I Bet You wear a mask and will get Vaxxed Dude?
@ArminHirmer Can you recommend literature (I mean books with pages. They do not need batteries) about this type of archery? Asian archery or however it is called. Thanks.
To my eye, this bow looks asymmetrical before the draw-- but very symmetrical at full draw. Usually, Armin, the bows you test look asymmetrical at full draw. An I really seeing this?
It kinda looks like your shooting the bow upside down... Or the string is on upside down... Or something is just odd... When u stand sideways to the camera you will see what I'm saying... Maybe I just don't realize that it's ok... I believe u said in the beginning... Long side on the bottom... But other videos u say long side on top.
Hi Armin, how does it compare to other Freddie siblings like the Black Shadow? Always wanted this bow but hard to find it in 53" in the poundage that I want so had to go with the Zenith. Another thing, in the brochure it says that the 53" bows can draw up to 33.4" draw length but as you said it is until 31" that this is not true? Lovely, lovely bow. Freddie Dynasty next?
This is one of the things that bothers me about these bows (Kaya, Freddie Nomad, Wings...). There are several models but the only real thing differentiating them from each other is color.
@@johnfredrickson7215 I thought that too but it's not exactly true. The Black Shadow and Zenith are quite similar to each other but the Black Flash has narrower limbs when I compared them.
what a timing. ive been looking into ymg because of their availability of heavy weight. other certified bow, hmg, also sells up to 90lb but ive been getting some strange answers to my questions about their “certified” products. though ive heard of bad things about ymgs value for their price, i guess ill have to go for it since thats the only certified bow with 90+ lb draw weight.
Certified as in the little sticker at the ear with korean trad archery association written? Idk about modern batches ymg makes, but the owner was an asshole about warranty. I sent a bow for a sideway tiller/twist issue and he sent it back without fixing it.
Rolldy Sharpshooter wow. one more story to add on my warranty/repair horror story list. yeah after ymg owner broke off from the original ktb company, he became really business oriented. they keep charging more and more for things like natural finish and more often they use short strips of birch which end up looking like patches of different colors. (you can actually see that from freddiearchery.com) and the grip became this cheap rubber plastic which you cant customize to fit your hand unlike typical korean foam grips. still uses typical plastic string bridges which cost 50 cents a piece and costs twice as much as other laminated korean bows like kaya, hmg, and segye. at this point i feel like maybe ill just buy a grozers biocomposite bow for the same price. that way i actually own a horn bow with high #.
I wonder why this bow has a max draw of only 31". If this is the large version of 53" I would expect a max draw of 33" or more. Can anyone help me out with this?
Well, I have a 48” black shadow (same construction as this one) which says it can be drawn to 31ish, and it starts stacking bad at about 29”. The 53” will probably be okay at 33”, but 31” is more realistic.
If you mean the Stringpads on the Siyahs: They use some kind of hard rubber instead of leather. Works really good with FF. Same for Kaya or White Feather bows 😉
@@lulustocke8251 I've only used B55 (Dacron-like) string material on these bows. Having said that, I have seen how much damage the FF material can inflict to none-reinforced string grooves.
And with that sweet review I put my knitting down, pick up my bow and head to the garage to practice.😀
Thank you Armin🙏❤

Ahhh, a Korean bow. Yesss, my favourite. the siahs allow for some insane speeds.
Well, I'm a fan. Impressive little blue bow, astounding speed, seems like exceptional quality for the price.
Gosh... This is soooo perfect for me... That exact bow... I love the color
Shiny blue like a beetles wing, how lovely! Great review! Armin!
Thanks to this review now I've got my hands on the first Korean bow I ever own, but instead of blue it is the red version :)
Very pretty bow and impressive performance too!
Armin- Are there any differences between the Black Flash Blue, Black Flash Red and the Black Shadow?
Great looking bow, and it did not break. thank You sir for your thoughts take care my friend. 👍🏼🏹🇺🇸

Hey Armin.., nice video! love it. I'm a beginner in Traditional Archery. I can search up for your vid to learn more.. Keep it up!
Another nice bow.Looks great.
Hi Armin, isn't the brace height low, or just nice not to get arm slap? Can it be shot 3finger Mediterranean?
Greetings Armin.

Great review! I just bought the 30 lbs (53 ") version, which arrows do you recommend for this bow?
Some lightweight carbon arrows
Someday!!! I would like to shoot like you. Thanks another Beautiful Bow.

I cannot seem to find the number on the voucher code in this video. Can you help Armin? The 300 ones. Thank you.

many, all Turkish bows but even this one would be great, performs pretty well with just 30"draw
Hi Armin, compared to the WindFighter, are the bows finish similar quality? Are the siyah similar?
Hi Mr. Hirmer,
Looks like the arrow pass at 29mm is same width with the limbs.
Am I right?
What is the width of the limbs, please.
Hi Armin,
If I put a shorter string, maybe 1/2~1 inch shorter, so I get higher string bridge, will it be harmful to my bow?
you should always stay in the recommended brace height given from the bowbuilder
I'm 6'4" and my draw length is 34-35 will I be able to make the 53" work for me?
thanks for the reviews
Definitely!
Hello master armin. Which one is bow is better? Blackshadow or blackflash? Which one do you prefer? 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Very similar. See which one you can get cheaper
@@ArminHirmer thank you for your reply master armin 🙏🏽
Freddy bows are excellent!
Do think it good stiffness is due to #55 and could nice in a lower poundage too?
sure I think for this bow 40# would be the sweet spot
I've got a Freddie Nomad 53" and 35#, it is really stiff and sturdy. Maybe below 30# you get more wigglyness😉 haven't had a lighter one yet.
Definitely a step up from the black shadow.
I have a few bows from Freddy archery. I love shooting them, but the arrow past isn't real ray skin and they wear out within a week of shooting every day.
Looks like you shoot this bow with "side katra" to prevent string arm slap. If you shoot "front katra", will you get arm slap?
Hey, Armin how would you compare this to the Monarq?
Hi Armin, I looked for to buy this bow, but I found BLACK FLASH RED 48inch by Freddie Archery. Are they the same?
Hi Armin, another great reveiw
How does it compare to Alibow's Segye?
I wish I would have one here ti compare directly
Looks also nice (and cost only round about 150€)
Hello Armin, great videos!
Which, in your opinion, are the best bow manufacturers in Europe? Thanks in advance
depends what you are looking for, there are many excellent ones here
@@ArminHirmer Well, versatility and quality kinda. I know Grozer makes pretty good ones, so probably something as good or similar?
please review ARROWS.
