To be honest mate I was able to admit I had a problem years ago but that didnt stop me repeatedly falling off the wagon. My regimented clean life (and making the 'on track' videos) is working tho. 👍

It sounds like you have an addictive nature.. that's not an easy thing to live with (or the people close to you to live wth) as nobody else becomes as important as getting your next hit.... Well done for knowing you had a problem and making changes to improve your life. Your GF is an absolute legend for staying by you mate.
I have a very addictive personality mate. Nowadays I try to keep myself addicted to positive healthy things. . . . . and coffee! 😃 . . . . . Im very lucky to have such a supportive girlfriend. 👍
@@mh_on_track Marcus we are very similar. All through my life, I have always been a 110% or nothing bloke, no matter what I do. In my younger days, I lived through the acid house and early rave scene, and man did I go OTT. Days awake at a time, DJ-ing and partying, in many ways I don't regret a minute, but I would always do twice as much as anyone else, it's was like some OCD self destruction. I had to just stop everything, and instead I went 110% into something else, which was weights, martial arts, boxing, and mountain biking. Finally now I'm in my mid 50's I have started to be content with 80% instead of 110% ! Keep going and stay positive Marcus.
Much respect Marcus. Its a great feeling when you are feeling good it's what drives me to stay away from what I know makes me feel any other way, but it ain't easy takes a lot of work. And truth be told a good strong partner is a huge factor and much Respect to Cat also.

I had to walk away from my lady of 23 years because I just couldn't deal with her metal illness no more it was exhausting. She died 3 year's later. At 44
I hope you or your kids god forbid ever get mental health problems just pray you don't receive the treatment she had to have and no help the fear of that is awful..
No-one on this planet is perfect..after all this time we as human being's are ridiculous we have not evolved or advanced properly we are behind in technology so much we can't evan feed the starving but we can pipe oil and gas pathetic we are I'm no exception either sad really..
