  • These 3 reasons cover most cases of MBA rejection - trust us, we've been doing this for a while, so we also know that whatever the reason you may have been rejected from business school, it's not going to feel good. Take some solace in the fact you're in good qualified company: top business schools simply get far more good candidates than they can admit.
    The first step should be to take a day to rest and process the emotions you're feeling. The next step is to start working out why this happened. If you need more detail or a debrief, we are the top medium MBA admissions consulting firm and getting re-applicants in to business school is one of our favorite things to do. So talk to us.
    For the rest, hold on til next week where we talk about picking yourself up and what to do next!

    Thanks for the incredible video!
    As the round 2 is almost up, and deferred mba deadlines are next, it'd be amazing if you could make some videos about applying for deferred MBAs!!

    I am 48 years old, I am an assistant property manager who wants to be an entrepreneur, so I am not looking to be part of some corporate culture. Is it possible for me to successfully apply to a full-time program rather than an EMBA? I have 4 years of Real Estate experience with 12 years of experience in other fields. Ok, I seen the do not get an MBA video, hopefully I am not the clueless or the overnight entrepreneur.

    Hi Angela - hasn't the weight of the test score in rankings gone down this year? Does that mean it will matter less this year?

    • @CareerProtocol
      @CareerProtocol  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! The weight hasn't gone down that much, unfortunately (e.g. US News 16.5% > 13%) so even though it matters a bit less, it still matters quite a bit, especially if the schools are in a position of having too many good applicants and looking for simple reasons to reject people.
      Hopefully it's a trend that continues - we've talked in other videos on the GMAT this year about the fact we would like to see the end of it. There's just too many great candidates with proven excellence in business getting rejected because of an abstract test (not to mention the varying, often straight-up awful conditions of test centres etc.).
