Advice for Full G applicants
1. Book appointment online. Saves you a lot of time.
2. Arrive the location about 1 hour before your time. (I got there 8:30am when my appointment was 10:25am)
3. You can not check in until 30 mins before your appointment. so this videos helped me a lot as I sat in the car. Watch videos on tips.
4. Drive the route yourself. Be mindful of all the stop signs, traffic lights. Go on 401 as shown, descend and get back to your original location at the center
5. Repeat same process. Switching lanes safely as shown in videos
6. Important to note, when you make a right turn, turn into the right lane. REMEMBER TO USE YOUR TURN LIGH INDICATORS WHEN TURNING.
7. Push your speed on the highway to 100 kph. Dont go beyond 104kph. The self practice will really help you.
8. focus on your safe driving. Practice the routes for the Port Union.
9. Congrats, you have your G.
10. After your G license, please dont drive when drunk or Tipsy.

Thank you for the video Evgeniy :) Do you have any recommendations for driving instructor in the area? Also I have heard from some people that driving instructors are not allowed and won't bring you on the test routes being used. Is that true?
@ 8:07 **G2*** if you continue straight, the road will abruptly end and merge into one lane on the left, and pass under a bridge, and have one highway off ramp on the right, and you have to turn left, there's no exit. i learned the hard way how much weird stuff happens on that section if you're unfamiliar. definitely study the area before your test. I circled the on and of ramp a lot to so i was used to the timing and merging location etc.

If a TTC bus stops in front of you to pickup passengers, dont change lanes. Keep your speed above 50 on arterial roads unless otherwise posted.

Evgeniy Chernyshov I had a quick question, I noticed you guys finished the test in the front parking lot but some other videos finish in the tight parking at the back where you originally start the test. Does where you park to finish the test just depend on who’s testing you?

Im wondering when it comes to lane changes, I've read online that whenever you make a left turn you have to automatically know to change to the right lane even without the instructor telling you to do so, is this true? or I have to only do what the instructor tells me to do?
I already passed my G license on first try last January 2020 but every time I watch videos like this it still gives me butterfly on my stomach. 😂

Man i have done all the drive tests. Don’t panic, even if you make a mistake while parallel park. You can ask them to do it again and they will let you… cause i did the same when I f**ked up my parallel park

Just passed the G license test today at the same location, first attempt without any classes. The examiner took me to a completely different route. it was a 80 KM highway called *Hwy 2A* . She asked me to perform 3 point, parallel parking and emergency stop. I think the reason she asked me to take that route was the questionnaire I filled in the beginning while registering myself at the driving center where one has to enter the license number, car make etc. There were 2 questions. The first one was asking that how many times have you been on 401 in the past 3 months? The other one was like how many times u have used 400 hwy. So I answered 80 and 90 as had been driving with my G2. Thankyou for the video *Evgeniy* , it is helpful as well.

Sorry just to clarify, What i wanted to ask is if you were allowed to practice with a driving school on or close enough to the actual test routes or if it was prohibited. Reason I am asking is because I live in downtown and I am not sure if its better for me to take a driving school in Port Union or Dt.
do you have to wait until you hit 100km before you merge or you can do it if the lane is empty and safe for you to merge?
How do I do all that with a manual car. Honest question my Exit G2 road test is this Thursday and my car is manual. I prefer to use it because I know the drive I have winter tires on them (new) and I have been driving and practicing with it for 2 years now.
My instructor from driving school gave me a one day lesson, and she said it really should be fine as long a so don’t stall and drive smooth. But I have to use one hand to shift gear when I do shift and I put my hand back on the wheel right away after.
Lol just a few tips if you have any. Thank you
if you pass or fail, the instructors at port union will whisper inaudibly, tell you to go to the counter, hand you a tiny slip of paper, and leave your car. and leave you confused.
I find if you knew you did an automatic fail move, and you ask honestly, they'll tell you, but you still have to conduct the test, because you payed anyway I guess
where does the final parking happen? Behind the test centre or in the Canadian tire plaza?
do you find they request the parking brake to be on? in the book it says so, but one instructor said don't need to?

Okay. I took one yesterday at port union and passed. Literally saw a test being cancelled because the driver and her husband was inside their car, masks off. So, if you go for a drivetest, make sure you have your mask on at all times, and it's better not to take anyone else if they don't want to wear a mask. You'll probably lose that $91.

I failed my test at port union unfortunately.
When I was about to enter in the highway from medowville at the same time a car just popped in behind. I immediately speed and I merge in highway safely. Examiner told me that you have done dangerous merging. What should I do in this situation. The ramp was about to end.i don't have any option left.
Plz advice .should I wait for the car to pass .or u should increase the speed.
Major tip you have to have 90% visibility of the mirrors. I did the same I exited ramp at 100 and merged very fast. Examinor told me it was very rough. But I was constantly checking my mirrors and blind spots that's why I passed. 90 % of the time you need to check your mirrors ! left right and back mirror and always back mirror when breaking on a signal !!!

Hello. I have a question: at minute 23:30, why the driver had to switch lane to the right side? is there any rule that I am unaware that we should not remain in the left side? . Another question: at the moment to get out of the highway, when we see the sign of 60 KM/H, do we have to be at 60 "before" or after this sign? Thank you in advance
Left lane is only for passing or turning left. Unless you are going to pass someone, you should drive in the right lane.
The signs at the highways exits are in orange color which means that they are suggested speed limits. You can be over those speed limits, but the idea is that you should be slowing down after exiting

Yeah that's fine because the car going straight on the opposite side decided to run a yellow(amber) light so he had to wait for that car to pass other wise he would've done the left turn sooner.

The final parking is supposed to be behind the Testing Centre and not at the Canadian Tire parking lot. Let me know if am not correct.
They do make you final park at Canadian tire sometimes, I did.
I have a doubt, do I need to park first my car in the front then register, then after registration I will park my car at the back and wait for my turn? Thank you for your tips it was very helpful.
You should park your car in the back before because you need to tell them the number of your parking spot so they know where your car is.
