Evgeniy, thanks so much for all your work helping people with your videos. I passed my G exam today Friday 10/27/23 at this location. Appointment was for 11.03 am and I got there half an hour earlier. The place was packed, I knew I had to wait. About 11.25 am finally was my turn and the lady made me start left. For the ones who are asking, the G2 part of the exam is still being skipped, so we took directly DVP North (I could only reach 70km/h due to the traffic). Then I had to keep driving and take 401 East, here I could reach the 100 km/h, flowing with the traffic. I exited in Warden and then zigzagged in the city driving (don't remember the streets) till returning to the examination centre, taking Victoria Park entrance. I had to front park in any free parking space, that was it. She told me you are a safe driver, you check your mirrors, you do the full stops, you merge smooth in the highway, you do safe lane changes, you drive good along the highway, congratulations. I wish everyone the best!
I passed the G test without getting an instructor just by watching this video and practicing for 2 hours. The only thing it needs to be updated other things were very useful. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I have passed my G exam today on July 29,2024. The examiner took me straight to Don valley Parkway, no school zone, parallel parking or three point turn.
Just passed my G test first try at metro east. Route was basically the same minus the residential area. Didn't get tested on 3 point turn, emergency stop, or parallel parking (you should still train it just in case). Otherwise good tips in this video. I recommend everyone not to just watch the route but drive there yourself and do it atleast 10 times to familiarize yourself with the area. Спасибо Evgeniy! And good luck to all of you. 🙏
I just passed my G test today (Oct.12, 2021)! Evgeniy's video helped me lower down my sky-high anxiety by familiarizing myself with the route (including road signs and speed limits). Although I was taken to a different route during the actual test (two blocks away), the route was very similar to the route on this video. Thanks so much for sharing this!
I just wanted to say thank you for this helpful video. I had my G test at this location today October 15. It was raining heavily and a little tricky to change lane at highway but I passed my test at first time. The examiner asked to do back parking and also front parking at the end of my test. May be because didn’t ask me to do parallel parking. Good luck to everyone!
I just watched your video before test and it was the exact same route. I followed each and every instruction given in the video and i passed. I just want to say THANK YOU!!!
Hey guys I took my test at this location on September 16 and it was the exact same route. Be very careful at the stop sign at the beginning of the test. They made me do parallel parking, uphill parking and a 3 point turn. Thats it, its very easy so don't stress the person testing me was very kind and didn't make me feel like I was taking a drive test. Good luck to everyone just watch this video and have the skills and you'll be good!!!
@@xana555 yeah so basically he told me to do a roadside stop (pull over to the right) and then said do an uphill parking with a curb so I turned my steering wheel to the left, parked and put the emergency brake on as well and it was all good!!!
Not 100% sure what details you need. If you are doing uphill parking with a curb, you need to turn your wheels all the way to the left when you park. All other cases, you turn the wheels to the right.
Thanks bro for great video. Due to your fully explained video, Alhamdolillah I got my G test passed on 18th oct on this same location. Without ur detailed video, i could not passed it. Many heartly thanks, appreciated😊👍👍
Thank you so much for doing this video. I just passed my G test today (May 30th, 2022). For the past few weeks, I've kept watching over and over again. I am lucky enough that the examiner just do the DVP. I didn't have to do parallel parking, 3-way-turn or even roadside stop.
Took this exact route today and passed! It’s so helpful knowing in advance where you’re turning. I did emergency stop, 3 point turn, and parallel park.
@@Sabuuu12 I did my test a couple of days ago and when I went to the drive test centre I did back parking. You do parallel parking on a small street, I parked behind 1 car only. When my test was finished, I did front parking. So, I would suggest you do back parking when you arrive at the drive test centre.
Thank you Evgeniy for making this video! I'm thankful as one of my family members referred it to me and it was very helpful. I did my G road test today and passed! (I thank God for peace of mind and calming my nerves! 😀) Just a few pointers that my examiner shared with me after the test (it was a modified G test due to COVID, so no parking/3 pt turn/reverse/etc): 1. Watching the speed limit (not too fast or too slow). 2. Coming to a full, complete stop at stop signs and red lights. 3. making sure you have enough space between your car and another car when merging onto the highway and switching lanes. I hope the video and pointers will be of use if you ever take this route 👌🏿 (and highway/street driving in general)
I watched this the morning of my test. My test was exactly this (minus the part about parallel, 3 point, and roadside stop because of Covid test reductions). I never comment but I have to do that for this video because it was helpful!
Thanks a ton for this video, watched it a couple of times and this was the exact route the test was conducted, with a few minor changes for the lanes used for parallel park etc, I passed my G today on my first attempt majorly thanks to this video, thanks again
I just did my G test on Saturday and this route is still being used (maybe slightly altered by using the next street over on Underhill). But yes they asked to do all of these maneuvers and on the highway as well. Try to go in early morning to 2:30pm as this seems to be the least busy time. Practice as much as possible as DVP traffic is unpredictable even on a Saturday. Thanks so much for uploading this video, managed to pass with flying colours as I was able to practice the route to know what to expect! 😃
I just wanted to thank you so much for this extremely helpful video. I watched this video about a dozen times and practiced along the route the weekend before my road test. I took my G test yesterday and passed!!!! Route was the same! Thank you once again!
Just passed G test on this route. I am a G1 holder who directly appeared for G th first time today. This video really helped me to get the route in my head, I watched it over and over agan. Although the roads are way too busy and school zone was filled up woth kids, people and pets than it is shown in the video. Higway merging and lane changing was tricky since the whole road was congested and people were driving like crazy. I thought I almost failed there. But finally I held the ministry standards. THANK YOU for the awesome tips and video.
Heyyyyy! I saw many videos from you and today was my G full tes I passed!!! Honestly I was really nervous but when the instructor showed up, I felt comfortable, I saw this video and we did 80% outside, I started my car to the left, I always checked my blind spots ( we need to move our neck very noticeable) check always the limit speed in all the streets, highways and school zones, very be careful with pedestrian and lights, also accelerate really quick to merge the highway according to the speed limit in there and finally do your best "Without hesitate" please, thank you my friend to upload this video :)
I Failed ❌ my test today and can maybe offer insight. The route was 100% the same, and this is an excellent video! I was able to practice in advance for my motorcycle M license. It was 11:45am, Tuesday, and DVP and all roads were really traffic heavy, didn't even go more than 60km/h on the highway. Now this might be a perk to some of you, but the downside was lane changing was troublesome with cars back to back. Lane changing for me involved the courtesy of other drivers. Whole test went fine, but when returning to the test center, I was lane shifting left as requested, and there was enough room to shift between one car, and an SUV. But this SUV driver sped up so as to not make room for me on "his lane", and then he suddenly braked. It was in no way going to cause an accident though. But examiner failed me, and said I need to adapt to hazards and "What if he didn't brake", and that I made an unsafe lane change. Examiner was grumpy / raising his voice since I met him, so I thought it could've been overlooked ... but I think it's a fair assessment. I live in this city, and Toronto drivers can be assholes when it comes to being courteous of other drivers, motorcyclists, or pedestrians. Everyone's always rushing somewhere. So keep that in mind, lane change only when you think there's enough room. If the roads were empty, shifting would be a piece of cake, and I'd pass for sure. Ps. Also, all tests are booked for months, no way to re-test until next year if I don't get anything before winter.
This video helped a lot! The test center is a busy one and has bad reviews on Google but my experience was good. There's no indoor waiting area and you directly have to go the back near the designated parking lot and line up near the back entrance. Waiting time was roughly around 20 mins. Did a couple minor mistakes, examiner pointed it out but I had enough points to pass.
Thank you for the detailed video. Passed G test today from Victoria. You can also ask for the score card / record of examination at the drive test counter after the test to understand the driving mistakes. All the best.
Not sure if you remember me, but I'm the dude you met at the tennis park that one time. I just did my G test today and passed perfectly! Just want to say a huge thank you. The route was exactly the same no joke, my instructor didn't make me do parallel park tho (lucky me) lol. This video is spot on, do it several times, know it and you'll pass for sure. Appreciate it!
Just passed my G on July 23, 2022. On that date, I did not have to do any of the city driving (no parallel, no school zone, no 3 point. They took me straight to the highway. Easiest ever. I got on the DVP and everyone was going like 55km/h so merging and lane changes were so easy.
I passed my G road test on Jan 24, 2023 in the same centre. The route was slightly different for me. Lawrence ave east -> Don valley pkwy north -> 401 east -> exit at warden ave -> ellesmere -> pharmacy ave -> lawrence ave east -> test centre parking lot. Also, it is still the modified road test (i.e., only highway, no resdential area). The video was helpful to familiarize with the routes.
@@dextergabrielbibat if you are booking for TME I suggest you take a day closer to the date you get and familiarize yourself with the route. It was really helpful. I went the night before
Thank you so much Evgeniy! I took the test and I got a very similar route. They were very busy and running an hour behind so I did 3 point turn, emergency stop, and parallel but no backing into the stall at the end. Pay attention to the highway at DVP, traffic changes all the time and went I took the test (1PM) it already slowed down so there's no worry about speeding on the ramp cause it's very busy!
I just wanna say thanks! I did this exact route today. I forgot 1 or 2 shoulder check/intersection check but she approved me! Just reach out to me if anyone is interested to have more details about my test today
Congratulations and thank you for sharing your experiences. I have my G test within two weeks same location. I would like to know how examiner asked you to park your car at the end of your G test, Reverse back parking or front parking?
@@liliananik3190 It was front parking. Seemed to me the examiner was bit late. My test started about 30 minutes late. I arrived there 1h before my test and I could observe some examiner asking for back and front parking. I would say 50/50%
@Evgeniy thank you very much for the video! I just passed my G test now, and all thanks to you! I tried to book a session with an instructor but they were fully booked and this video was the only thing that helped me pass. It was at 2:30pm and I arrived one and a half hours earlier to practice (Did two laps before the test) The examiner took me from a slightly different route though (I assume because it was my second time doing the test) Thanks again!
Odetoye Oyinlola, Thank you very much.. I hope this channel gets to everyone before their driving test! I’m making sure to share the video with my friends, and please do the same as a payback to the gentlemen who filmed it
Today I passed my G exam here. To be honest I did major blunders but I got passed. Funny thing is examiner just took me G route no G2 route. The major mistake I made was when I was leaving parking lot area and heading towards main road he asked me to turn left and I turned left but I was going incoming lane. He said why are you driving on wrong lane. Then I made a mistake again on Donvellie parkway south I accelerated my speed to merging on highway during that time highway was busy and I ended up with the merging lane and I couldn’t changed my lane on time but ai did precautionary changed my lane. He told me why did you do that I told him I heard from the instructor that during the highway merge make sure you accelerate the speed and reach the right speed of highway. I thought he already failed me so that’s why he doesn’t want to waste his time on my G2 exam he took me direct Driving test parking lot he asked me to turn right and I did the same mistake I drove the wrong lane. he said why are you driving in wrong lane when you see solid yellow line you should not change or go other lane. I didn’t say anything I knew he is already going to fail me so why would I say anything. When I parked the car he said congratulations you passed the G exam now you go inside and get the temporary license. I definitely made mistakes but one thing I did was I was taking my full time for changing lanes whether on local roads or highways. I was keep moving my head and I didn’t take any risky turn. One time on local road he asked me to change lane to the side but on my right side the TTC Van was going same speed as me and I couldn’t changed my lane and red signal came. I changed my lane after the signal lights. So I think he saw me that I don’t do rush in changing lane or taking anything decisions in hurry maybe he passed me with that habit. Just to let you know that I’m a very safe driver and I’ve never drove wrong lane in my life I don’t know why that happened maybe I was bit of nervous and lack of sleep. I did far better exam in London driving test center. I drove 2 hours from Toronto to London to just give exam. The passing rate was high over there. She didn’t tell me much why she failed me she just said you drove too slow on merging highway the right speed is 100 and you are merging with 90 speed and that truck was coming so it was dangerous to merging the highway on that speed. Even though the truck was far behind and there was no chance for any close contact. Then I asked her did I do any other mistakes so she said your driving is just fine just minor mistakes. Then I asked her like what, she said if you want to know your mistakes go and get the yellow paper from inside. I thought who cares just forget it. Then I booked my exam at Toronto metro east center which is way closer than any other centers from my home. I was surprised when he said you have passed the exam, I wasn’t expecting just because of my London center exam experience
Thank you! Just got my G license this morning! Exactly the same route except that we went back to the parking lot from the next intersection (the one without traffic lights). The examiner didn't ask me to do the parallel parking. I guess because of this, he tested me both reverse & forward parking
Passed my G test last week at this location - the route was the same. The only difference was that there were no cars parked on the road for parallel parking and we did both back in and pull in parking at the end.
hey man, just want to say thank you for this. I failed my first time and then discovered your video before my second attempt, and passed! the route was exactly the same in this video , except, at the moment Drivetest isnt conducting 3 pt. turns and p. parking cus there backed up. @@alessialuciano7946 no, i pulled in forward but i got the feeling my instructor was eager to get to the next test as i was driving pretty slowly even tho i passed. i went in the afternoon and there were not a lot of cars so i wouldnt worry too much

Hi Evgeniy, Thanks so much for making these videos. My wife & I watched this video about 25 times (I hope that gives you plenty of adsense money!) She took her full G test at Metro east today and passed first time. Big thanks to your channel, it really helped lay out the route. We drove the route together about 8 or 9 times to practice, so she did not have any surprises. (We are both wondering where you are both from originally, we were trying to work it out from your accents haha. My wife was born in Kyiv and speaks fluent Russian, so her guess is that maybe you are Russian and your friend is Polish?)
When you pull into the plaza, where do you park the car to take the test? In the front where all the cars are parked (very busy!) or in the back of the building (like in this video)?
The gentleman didn't ask me to do G2 parts. I did not perform well but the gentleman let me pass. I got lucky. He asked me after the test and before giving me my results: "what speed should you go when the limit is 50". I said "I should go 50" He said, "yes, why did you go 60 then." I said, "sorry I wasn't paying attention to the road limit." (I followed the car in front of me & he was driving way about 65, and it's a new road I've been on, not included in this video.) It's definitely not a good answer but he let me pass anyway. So, remember to drive safe & slow, good luck guys! Notes he gave: remember to look at blind spots when changing lanes. (He said I forgot it serval times) remember to drive under the speed limit.
I think in Barrie your examiner will ask you to drive on the highway 400 north between Mapleview and Essa. Then again southbound between Essa and Mapleview.
Hi, i just had a small question. When you entered the residential area, before that the limit was 50km/hr but when you came out and joined the same road the limit your friend told is 90km/hr. How it changed from 50km/hr to 90km/hr on the same location?
Anyone know when exiting the plaza and the light is red in the intersection, can you still turn right if it’s safe to do so? Or is it right turn on green only?
What my driving instructor told me is that if you are making a right at a red light and your view is obstructed, do NOT creep up, as you will block pedestrians, and could end up failing. With that being said, you are legally allowed to make a right at a left light (permitted there is no signs saying otherwise). If the light is green, you're good to make the right. Good luck :)
Hi. How do you yield on underhill going to lawrence then dvp? When turning right onto lawrence, do I have to wait until theres no more oncoming cars from left lane before I can turn right going to dvp? im a bit confuse

Thank you for the detailed video. Passed G test today from Victoria. You can also ask for the score card / record of examination at the drive test counter after the test to understand the driving mistakes. All the best.
I passed my G test from the first try last week. Thank you guys for this helpful video I had the same route as described it.
Great job! Congratulations!!!
Nice job! I am so glad to hear it! Congratulations!!!
Hi Cherny.. i have successfully passed my G test in my first attempt. Its same route and nice location.
Thanks a lot. Passed G road test in first try. This video was really helpful
Well done
Saw 92 gas. Love this video lol watching this befor my exam today.
Guys! Thanks a lot for your great job! The road test on this rout went nice and smooth! As a result - G full license in my pocket. Good luck to all
Great to hear!
Just passed my G on July 23, 2022. On that date, I did not have to do any of the city driving (no parallel, no school zone, no 3 point. They took me straight to the highway. Easiest ever. I got on the DVP and everyone was going like 55km/h so merging and lane changes were so easy.
what time was ur test?
I passed my G road test on Jan 24, 2023 in the same centre. The route was slightly different for me. Lawrence ave east -> Don valley pkwy north -> 401 east -> exit at warden ave -> ellesmere -> pharmacy ave -> lawrence ave east -> test centre parking lot.
Also, it is still the modified road test (i.e., only highway, no resdential area).
The video was helpful to familiarize with the routes.
Thank you and congratulations! What time was your test?
@@loodyali 11.30am.
watched this video and passed my G test today!!! thanks so much, went the exact route too
Fantastic!
Passed my G test yesterday at this location.! The route was same as shown in the video..
Thank you so much for posting this guide. It was extremely helpful. Did my G yesterday and passed.
Glad it helped! Congratulations!
Hello. I want to take the exam but i guess i can't book a test online but just in person at the moment?
@@dextergabrielbibat call and book the test
@@carolynchin3327 thank you
@@dextergabrielbibat if you are booking for TME I suggest you take a day closer to the date you get and familiarize yourself with the route. It was really helpful. I went the night before
Is so helpful video for my G test on November, thank you!!
I'm so glad!
Awesome! Congratulations and thank you for offering to help others
Thank you so much for your quick response
Congratulations on passing. My test is on Monday. Can't wait to share my success story as well
This will help my G1 exam this August.
Great job... Thank you very much. It was really helpful.
You're welcome!
@Evgeniy thank you very much for the video! I just passed my G test now, and all thanks to you!
I tried to book a session with an instructor but they were fully booked and this video was the only thing that helped me pass.
It was at 2:30pm and I arrived one and a half hours earlier to practice (Did two laps before the test)
The examiner took me from a slightly different route though (I assume because it was my second time doing the test)
Thanks again!
Great news! Congratulations 🍾🎊🎈
Congratulations on passing the test
Odetoye Oyinlola, Thank you very much.. I hope this channel gets to everyone before their driving test! I’m making sure to share the video with my friends, and please do the same as a payback to the gentlemen who filmed it
Tarek Rafea for the g test did you take the highway??
Havane yes I did
Thanks, your videos help me to made the drive test for G2. Now I saw this video because I have my road test for G. Thank a lot.
Just passed my G road test today Thank you for this video. The same route instructor took me.
Nice! Here is the GPS Route: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/902328183/
Thank you! Just got my G license this morning! Exactly the same route except that we went back to the parking lot from the next intersection (the one without traffic lights). The examiner didn't ask me to do the parallel parking. I guess because of this, he tested me both reverse & forward parking
Awesome! Congratulations!!!
Thank you so much dude i really appreciate the vid!!!!
did they ask you to reverse park back at the centre?
@@alessialuciano7946 no, i pulled in forward but i got the feeling my instructor was eager to get to the next test as i was driving pretty slowly even tho i passed. i went in the afternoon and there were not a lot of cars so i wouldnt worry too much
@@jacksonlewis7685 ah okay I see! My test is Tuesday super nervous but I’ve been practicing the route in the video so I’m glad to hear it’s the same :)

Hi Evgeniy,
Thanks so much for making these videos. My wife & I watched this video about 25 times (I hope that gives you plenty of adsense money!)
She took her full G test at Metro east today and passed first time.
Helpfull video for my G test next month
Thank you again
You’re most welcome
Thank you so much for this video, incredibly helpful, I passed my G test!
Lucky you, did mine this morning as well and got a rude mf. Forget his name but he failed me on the smallest things.

Thank you so much for this vid!
very easy this video helps I took the test a few days ago
Thanks for your video! Just wanna check with you...there’s only one route for G class road test, right?
Can you post videos for port hope g test route?
When you pull into the plaza, where do you park the car to take the test? In the front where all the cars are parked (very busy!) or in the back of the building (like in this video)?
That ped is crossing, will it be a fail?
Hello thanks for the video, my test is on 11 Jan, please is the route still the same?
Is it okay if I keep my speed at 30 on the intro and exit from the highway? Just saying because I’m scared they might fail me if I go 40 or 50 there
yay passed🎉
The gentleman didn't ask me to do G2 parts.
I did not perform well but the gentleman let me pass. I got lucky.
He asked me after the test and before giving me my results: "what speed should you go when the limit is 50".
I said "I should go 50"
He said, "yes, why did you go 60 then."
I said, "sorry I wasn't paying attention to the road limit." (I followed the car in front of me & he was driving way about 65, and it's a new road I've been on, not included in this video.)
It's definitely not a good answer but he let me pass anyway.
So, remember to drive safe & slow, good luck guys!
Notes he gave:
remember to look at blind spots when changing lanes. (He said I forgot it serval times)
remember to drive under the speed limit.
Awesome 👏
i feel like the g2 test is harder than the g test now because they dont test parking as much for the g
Does the examiner tells you what do to(like changing lanes) all the way or he will just tell you where to go until you reach back to the test centre?
Hi sir, the video is helpful for us who will take a road test. Sir, may I ask why you stir to the right when you stop? Downhill? Thank you.
Safety procedure. If the car will roll forward and it has wheels pointed to the right, car will immediately hit the curb and stop.
@@EvgeniyC thank you
Could you do g2 road test for Barrie location before July 🙏🏼
I think in Barrie your examiner will ask you to drive on the highway 400 north between Mapleview and Essa. Then again southbound between Essa and Mapleview.
Here is Barrie G2: th-cam.com/video/XMrytASQGgg/w-d-xo.html
Hey do you have a video for a M test or any tips that could help for this location?
Great video sir! Just one question, at 11:03, do you have to maintain 40 KM/H or 50 KM/H is fine? Thank you!
maintain 40 since its a test.
Kakilin Lajkifdh thank you so much!
And how we don’t know what type of car will be driving during the test?
Arent we going to take the test by our cars?
Thanks For this video I pass
Well done! Congratulations!!!
Taking the test today after waiting nearly a year because of Covid, in the snow too. Let you all know how it goes🤘🏼
Update, just got failed but a total douche. Guy had no respect or any patience.
Bro are they going to ask u to turn off all safety sensors on ur car?
Hi, i just had a small question. When you entered the residential area, before that the limit was 50km/hr but when you came out and joined the same road the limit your friend told is 90km/hr. How it changed from 50km/hr to 90km/hr on the same location?
Hi dear, do you have any road test video for Woodstock ON examination center?
I’ll create one. You can find the GPS route on DriveTestHelp.ca
Have you done or is there any parallel parking during the exam in that drive test centre?
Hi. How do you yield on underhill going to lawrence then dvp? When turning right onto lawrence, do I have to wait until theres no more oncoming cars from left lane before I can turn right going to dvp? im a bit confuse
👏👏👏
Congratulations
you need to drive with both hands
Yes 🙌
