I appreciate this. This is the first time I’ve seen someone outside of our community trying this hard to find one of us. We stay missing 4x longer and we don’t get looked for when we do go missing. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of us are missing now and nobody is looking for us. BLACK AMERICANS ARE DISAPPEARING DAILY. Thank you for this.
It's fairly unusual to publish as an undergrad, yet I think you said she co-wrote more than 1 published paper. Even if she wasn't taking her parents what was going on, her academic advisor would definitely know what could've prevented her graduation. The co-authors might be a good resource, too. If she lived on campus, I would expect her last roommate to be interviewed.
@@alicefreist318 yes and of course anyone that was helping her w her podcast at the time. However she disconnected from fam and friends a whole year before she was reported missing
Even if she didn't graduate what does that have to do with her being missing? The child is missing. More resources needs to be in place in finding her.
@@Joyful_Smiles because then we can ask the questions like- when did she REALLY go back to PA to be with her mom? Was it before or after graduation in May? What changed between Jan/Feb up until May? Was she financially dependent on Mom or was she receiving financial aid for school? What prevented her from fully graduating? It was said she wanted to continue on to med school. It was originally reported that she DID graduate in May 2023. Now its been discovered that she in fact did NOT.
Thank you for reporting on this. When our girls go missing, very little attention is given to their stories.
Thank you for covering this story, and raising awareness about this young lady's disappearance.
I've never seen this on the news but she's a sister so I'm not surprised 😢
