exactly, kairos’ “tests” are so arbitrary and measure literally nothing about brawler effectiveness
@@leonardocastellanos7344 The worst part is that the tests overall used to be more useful, but as time has gone on he's slowly phased out the practical tests for more arbitrary ones.
I remember back in the day, he had a heist safe test where it basically measured how quickly a brawler could destroy the safe with just one super charged. Sadly he stopped using that test when training cave was added because of the fact that he needed to have 5 people to be AFK in a friendly room (you could not disable bots when training cave was first added).
I'd add Buster to the list of true tanks, his whole moveset revolves around crowd control and tanking/protecting teammates

as a buster main, all i wanna say is; come by my side, no need to hide
If you're having a hard time understanding his point, just try and play bull and then buster, you'll realize that playing as bull your goal is to get kills and be more aggressive, while as buster your focus is mainly protecting your team etc..
bull needs a rework, his stomp gadget has to be adapted to his kit, something like: you use the super normally, and hit the button again to cancel

Bull would be rly op then cuz basic attack+super with supercharge gear recharges super and he would just charge at everyone and also bull deals like 6k damge with super and main which can kill some brawlers
Just make his super have less range by default, like 2-3 tiles less, and he gets movement speed after the charge (kinda like edgar but a little bit worse).

hey, writer of the powerpoints here, i want to clarify some things
so i pulled these definitions off the League of Legends wiki. for those of you who don't know, League is a 5v5 MOBA that is more macro-oriented than micro like Brawl is (meaning that winning the game is more dependent on the material objective than winning matchups) so naturally, balanced matchup spreads aren't as important in league as they are in brawl. self-sufficiency still does exist in those games, though - micro-macro is a spectrum, and macro games do still have a significant element of micro. You're going to lose the game if all you do is die on lane.
Classes are what the stats of the brawler mean for their overall playstyle. For example, fast speed, good approach, and high burst with low health may mean assassin, while long range means marksman. However, all brawlers can still assassinate, just like all brawlers can hold ground from a respective distance.
All this to say, Bull can tank damage, but he isn't necessarily a tank. He needs to tank damage to enable him to fight, but he also needs to have an engage Super to enable him to both tank damage and fight. He can't have low damage and high health, which is why I said a true tank cannot exist in Brawl, and why Brawl's tank class is much more fluid than in other games.
That still exists in League, to a lesser extent, because self-sufficiency is not as important, so technically a true tank can never exist in any game.
In the video, I meant true tank more as the ideal you get in a macro-oriented MOBA like League in which a tank has less than average DPS, because that sort of team reliance simply does not work in Brawl. The purpose of the video was to introduce the idea of self-sufficiency and explain that Brawl needs much more of it than other games, but I kinda forgot to mention said other games. Lesson learned - I need to play more of them.

I’ve always thought that the best way to buff bull is by making his super move faster. That’s his main way to close the gap between enemies and it’s just so damn slow and easy to dodge especially near the end of his range.

The definition of a tank means Frank is a real tank class. Moderate dps, area dmg and crowd control (stun)
he is! i feel like he's confused over what he wants to be though - a tank that disrupts position or a tank that holds ground, he has a little bit of both but struggles in both categories

I like the term "noob stomper" this channel used. Frank fits that description too sadly.
For now, he just needs a hypercharge to be strong in higher trophy range. I think it should simply make the wind up of his super faster. As an optional bonus, after using super, the wind up of his main attack is shorter too for a while.

@@IceConsumer ngl his hypercharge is busted with how quicklyit charges. Pair thatwith power grab and the pull gadget and Frank teamwipes. Hell, he can even chain 3 hyper supers and get a 4th norrmalone in 5v5.
W buff. Still, i can't call the shortened wind up a rework, it's really just a buff since nothing has been changed about him
ex. Meg got more projectiles at the cost of her range, making her a slightly more aggressive tank (fighter) than a true tank.
and Lily who got two ammo but at a cost of her super dmg.

bull is one of my mains and honestly i love playing him. i play him more as an assassin by charging into enemies and feeding them lead.
as a bull main I use him more as an assassin and wish his stop came along with the super, you can team wipe really easily with the gear that charges your super faster

bull supper rework: he enters "running mode" and can control his dash but it lasts for 5 secs
I Always wondered why Bull's Charge is just... Bad.
Like, come one, it can't be defended, it has SOME Ups, but it really boils down to probably the worst Movement ability option the game has to offer.
If it could strafe a bit while charging, or have some kind of damage reduction while using it (Not both) it would be Much, Much, Better, but instead is kept in this awful state for who knows why.

@@Littencito it's only to account for the tuff guy rework because he technically has more than 10K with tough guy. He dies too quickly with Berserker. Any brawler who gets spawn killed needs essential changes, it would also further distinguish him from Shelly&Darryl

You sound like you know alot about the game and are very knowledgeable about how brawlers are played, so I do not claim my opinion to be superior to yours although I still do disagree with you.
In my expierence with bull he does very well on most knockout maps by being played as an assassin using the stomped gadget, I started playing him because he was fun but he genuinely does do very well like this. This being said I am only rank 27 with him and cannot speak for how this will be effective at more competitive ranks.
