Also a fellow called Michael De `Hara who was in Snatch and a friend of Guy Ritchie`s he was with Ronnie Oliffe who was Ronnie Olive in Judas Pig, it states in the Legacy book that he and Jimmy were partners in Soho in some things and they had a lot of money out of David Sullivan the West Ham owner and Holmes never paid O`Hara his share and he got jumped at Hunts dads funeral think he was with Jimmy Coleman and Ronnie Oliffe he reckons it was over this as he confronted Holmes about it according to the book De`hara was with Oliffe on his firm for real. From what I remember De`Hara told Gillard this. In Judas pig O`Hara is called Smooth hound and the beating he took seemed exaggerated also in Judas Pig he is murdered in a South London spieler by Holmes character Billy Abrahams but he is alive well and hasn`t got lots of scars from the beating he took so you can`t take it all as gospel.

Two lumps stood there gave me loads of gip over abandoning her, thought I was going to get buried. While I was there she put an electric kettle on the hob and nearly set fire to the place. We didn't know it but she had dementia setting in. Is why she said she was abandoned. Kept going on about picking my auntie Sylvie up from the land army... Within weeks she had to go to a care home. Went back down to grab some things for her and found two 'ladies' in a cupboard under the stairs... Was there for a couple of weeks when the lumps came back to the door... Explained the whole thing about she was sick, had a couple cups of tea with them. They were trying to get to the cupboard by the stairs. Said I found their 'shopping' hahaha... My old aunty part of the firm! :)

Hmmm interesting , although not sure on this one . Bowers and Hunt were never friends , in fact Hunt dislikes that family and never had any dealings with them , so why would Bowers be on the meet ? Also no indication of the year this meet took place . Holmes and Hunt had their big falling out in 1995 and never met in the flesh again afterwards . As for the whole “point” behind the writing of JP , it was (allegedly) for 2 reasons . 1 : To provide “catharsis” for Holmes , a way of exorcising his demons , but mainly 2 : To expose Hunt as the mastermind behind certain big drug import “rip-offs” , inspiring the big names who got ripped off to take out a contract on Hunt so Holmes could avoid getting his own hands dirty (he openly admits in JP that Hunt had him physically and psychologically “beat”

Legacy by Michael Gillard is worth a read if you ever got the time , goes deep into the background of Hunt & Holmes relationship . I used to talk to a chap who’s written a couple of books , knows all the ICF fellas and is a mate of Paul Ferris . He told me that the “real” reason the two fell out wasn’t over money but something VERY personal . He told me “if I tell you what really happened , and it gets out it was me who told you , I’ll be dead within 24 hours” .
