- You guys have been begging me to check out a Squale, so here we are. Today we're unboxing the 60 atmos, and in a couple days, we'll also take a look at a 1521, a personal addition to the collection.
I've had the 60 atmos for a couple days now and so far it's been really amazing! Stay tuned for the review coming out in a week or so!

I've got the Squalematic for a half year now. Perfect watch and lots of positive attention because of the colour. Also the quality is outstanding. It fits comfortable on my 7 inch wrist. Greetings and peace from the Netherlands ✌🏻
I wound up buying the 1521 50 Atmos after looking at the Squalematic. It fits my 18cm wrist perfectly where the Squalematic would be just be too big.
Amazing watch and great review. I am really into this watch and hesitate between blue and glossy black. How you like your black 60 Atmos? Which one do you prefere and why if I can ask? Since I am not able to see those watches in person I need to depand on YT. Regards!
Awesome watch. One of the most beautiful watches I've seen.
It sure looks great! :)
closest watch to this i can think of is the breitling super ocean heritage and i actually like this better.
I own a few luxury watches including Rolex, AP etc. and this watch for some reason gets the most compliments and looks whenever I wear it.
Take a look at the dial in a loupe and I guarantee you the finishing are on par w/ the luxury brands if not better.
Cool watch. Interesting difference with the old mesh bracelet is that the adjustable links are not in mesh. The only thing which keeps me from wearing a mesh bracelet is that I am afraid the hair on my arm will get stuck in the mesh which can be painful.
After great anticipation I just picked up my squale 60 Atmos, Carrabean blue. I have to say this is sex on your wrist. One of the most gorgeous watches I have owned. Looks and feels like a million buck, every penny well spent. Perfectly balanced and a price of artwork. Stands out of the crowd and its a class of its own. Love love this watch so much.
do you still use it and hows it
Can you make it accessible by adding closed captioning please? it is sadly next to useless without captioning (even if auto captioning an option, that made it difficult).
wow what a stunner !!!
That watch is my favourite watch at the moment
Still waiting for the review
Hope you enjoy the watch and am looking forward to the review. I've owned this watch for the better part of a year now and mostly enjoy it. I found when I first received it that it is actually a lighter shade of blue than online. Not sure why this is but even on my own camera the watch has a darker blue. As a result I was kinda disappointed at first but ended up warming up to the watch when I could appreciate all the other details. If I could improve anything on it I wish they had the chamferred edges on the lugs a different finish. Either have the case brushed and the lug bevels polished or vice versa. I felt this was a missed detail Squale could have easily capitalized on. While I like the bezel I wish they incorporated numbers somehow into it maybe not to the extent of the 50 ATM but maybe a 3 - 6 - 9. I like the bracelet for the most part and actually prefer mesh, but not the link system. I find it's a bit difficult to size, the way the link is attached to the clasp is a bit wobbly and doesnt feel too secure as a result, and the micro-adjust holes are pretty useless as the links are a bit too thick for the clasp forcing it to scratch and not align flat when using any hole but the end one. I also found the clasp a bit short for my liking and the bracelet would be better if it tapered. Aside from that it is a very unique and original looking watch that stands out a lot which is why I still have it. I know Squale tends to get a bad rap especially for homages but I don't think you will find any other watch out there that looks like this.
@Mister T, thank you for posting this. I am interested in getting this watch. So I guess you cannot fit the links in the clasp properly when microadjusting the clasp and the links are misaligned and a gap is left at the end of the clasp, correct? I want this on mesh. Would you recommend I get the strap version and buy an aftermarket mesh then?
@@peternicholas3858 Hey I'm glad you asked! I forgot I even posted this 3 yrs ago! I sold the watch and sometimes I miss it. I found just the mesh was good but the clasp and the link system was not. If I remember right the individual links were too thick to fit any further than the 1st micro adjust hole which make the other 2 useless if you wanted to tighten the band up. I did like the leather strap thought it was good quality. I would get it on that and invest in a much better mesh.
@@Mister19Eleven Thank you for your insight. You can find this watch now on mesh at the same price or even cheaper than on strap. So I will get it on mesh. And if I cannot fit it properly I will invest in those nice adjustable German mesh bracelets which are a little expensive, but worth it.
so where is the follow up?
Too bad the dont make it in two sizes... Its way too big for me :(
Very nice watch! :)
Indeed! Thanks for watching :)
Riktigt bra jobbat!
Tack Petter! :)
