Would've love to see the freshmen at 132 win it. Kid was a dog the entire match. Kept pushing the pace with his offense. I see big things coming for him as long as he doesn't let that loss deter him.

Rule 7-3-3 is specific that if they go straight into nearfall criteria (which is what happened), no violation has occurred. When they roll through, he'd have to let go, but they're already well out of bounds at that point.
