Really really appreciate this brother. So many coaches in wrestling kinda have this tough guy attitude of just show the minimal amount of technique and “put these guys to work.” The problem is, if you don’t understand what’s going on you’re never really gonna get that good anyway, so all the work doesn’t matter nearly as much. Simple things like explaining what hand fighting even is and what it entails is lost on so many coaches. “Just do a collar tie!” Again, thanks so much 🙏🏼
This is great stuff. A lot of high school coaches don't know how to teach high fighting. Right now I'm trying to correct three high school wrestlers hand Fighting. Definitely, your best video.
@@ironfaithwrestling Quick question, do we really call this hand Fighting. I am old school with a little update on technique. One time a while back, I asked one of my students what he was learning in practice and he said hand Fighting. I had to have him explain to me what he was talking about. I told him , so you are talking about moving your opponent to create an opening to get to your takedown.
@@takedown6470 I totally agree I think people say hand fighting and don’t really understand what it is. My definition is hand fighting is the techniques used to get to your tie up and clear your opponents tie up

An amazing video of all hand fighting moves. I am an adult recreational grappler and I specialize in the Russian Tie but anyway don't take my word for it.
