Our first music video ever! This was a super fun and eye-opening experience for all of us, and it helped us reach a whole lot of new metal fans. Thanks for reacting, we really appreciate it as always!
Another great VINTERSEA reaction-their first ever video as your first video of the new year! I love that you give Jeremy (the drummer) a bunch of love-as a drummer, I’m sure you know they rarely get enough cred for all the awesomeness they bring to the table. You should check out Old Ones next, unless their new video is released before you do another VINTERvid, in which case you should totally do that one. “Crack of Light” is a fan favorite song and the video is coming out on the 12th🤓🤘🏼
Oh, damn, I am a bit late but still - thanks you very much for going for my recommendation and yeah, exactly this is what I meant - here is the primest example of how versatile a singer she can be, and the slightly slower and darker parts just make an incredible job at emphasizing and highlighting her vocals even more.
I do love Vintersea drumming. A lot of what impresses me is nuance though. Like he's mastered the art of just holding the beat but slipping in moments of awesome that don't draw the attention from everything else unless you're listening for it. It's understated, but so classy. The guy is a beast. I think the time signature you were looking for was 3/4, or maybe 6/8. I'd love to hear those clean harmonies at the end live, I reckon it would be face melting. Great reaction dude!
Gotta admit, I love all of Vintersea's work, but I've kinda been sleeping on this song. Love how it starts fairly sparse but continues to get more epic with each new texture and layer. "Bleastbeats are my life".....same bro, same.
Big fan of Vintersea, glad to see more people doing reaction videos to their music. I wish more youtubers got on board with this band, they really do deserve all the attention possible. Considering the garbage on the radio today, Vintersea is refreshing and has talent to spare.
