I used to live in Hilo in the 1970’s went to Hilo High ah the old memories everything looks the same I just miss visiting my deceased parents so all you young people please take care of your parents and enjoy them and visit them as often as you can as time goes by without you ever realizing it’s 50 years gone by

I've always wanted to visit Hilo, and this video gave me a taste of what it's like to stroll through this charming Hawaiian town. The architecture is stunning, and the local markets and shops look like they have so much to offer. Can't wait to visit one day! 🌺🌴
Hilo definitely looks like a beautiful place that I want to visit. But, I can't help but shed a tear for my beautiful Maui Front St. that my wife and I have visited many times. Now, in our 70s, we pray that Front St. will be restored to its magnificent glory once again.

FYI : Keawe St "w"is pronounced as "v" sound. Missionaries must have been suspicious, thought 13 alpha characters was suspicios to the number of 13 numbers being in the Hawaiian alphabet (tantamount "bad luck", so they combined both sounds (v's & w's were as one written character, so Hawaiian words often get mispronounced. was born & raised in Hilo
