Here is the New HHA Kenworth C501 - The trailer is also new - 12x8 Moudle section out of a 18x8 combination. The unit is carrying a HSRG Moudle approx weight 126 ton payload.
Awesome truck..and trailer! When I had my HQ ute, everyone wanted favours moving house & tons of stuff etc etc... its prolly more "literally speaking" when someone asks things like that of you blokes. :) Appreciate you sharing this...very impressive!
@aussiekenworth85 This C501 is Jon's personal truck in the fleet - the very last C501 to roll off the production line before production of the C508 commenced! Jon also is a advocate for custom trucks in Australia - hence the big, bad-ass Texas style bumper bar!
Actually that may be more axles than needed for the weight, but the piece might have to be fully supported its entire length ( like the drive shafts for nuclear subs) It also may be the only trailer in the area. It also may be traveling over a bridge with a low per axle weight limit.
well it says in the video description that its 126 ton and why would you go and get other gear to a job when you already have something that would do it?
how about this, you read what you wrote. quote "thats kind of stupid really, no need for THAT many axles, just 5 acles and a Dolly would do us lads in england for about 100 tonnes maybe more". also nowhere has anyone mentioned 49 axles. oh and dont go insulting an actual driver. i have had more to do with trucks than playing them on a video game and maybe if you laid off the games a bit and tried to do some homework/schoolwork your comments would make sense.
Wow thats awesome!!! You Australians know how to get it done! Great work.
