      How does the Quake compare to the Duel Hardcore Vibe? I notice that they look very similar, however the 6 Sense Quake is nearly half the price. I really like the Hardcore Vibe, but hate the price.

      I can't tell ya since I haven't tried the Duel, but my guess is they can't be that different

    I had the same exact type of day friday! Fishing a tournament....tried everything...about to give up. I pulled out a lipless craw crankbait and found the grass. sink and rip. Had a 16lb bag in 3 hours. 31 degree weather. Great day, it was.

      @@TylersReelFishing brother I learned from a person on TH-cam to use a shortshank 2 treble in the back an a owner American short shank size 4 in the front, an owner American split rings size 3. This set up helps keep fish on hooks owner American are amazing hooks that are thick stout hooks that are super strong. I just bought some square bill cranks an lipless cranks an will replace the hooks with short shank owner American hooks 2 in the back 4 in the front with owner American split rings.

    My lipless collection is up to 27+ Found 22 of 'em last summer when our local lake was drained down. I don't catch any fish on them but they are fun to throw. I think these baits don't work here in SoCal due to all the heavy pressure; subtle, finesse and sudden surprise reaction baits seem to work best: DS, T-rigged soft plastics, SBs, and small reaction hardbaits like Rapala Shad Rap.

    Hi Tyler - Thanks for posting. Quick question: at 6:46 and a couple times after, you depress the line release button when fighting a fish. I've never heard anyone talk about that. Can you explain what's up with that technique? Won't that release all tension on the fish? Thanks again.

    • @TylersReelFishing
      @TylersReelFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some people use the drag to let the fish take line, some people (like me) use the spool manually to let out line. I have gained the ability to control how much fish take out so the line doesnt break

      It’s useful in certain circumstances, but when it works, dang does it work well. I’ve got several stories of my day being a failure until I turned on the hydro wave. Ever wonder why all the pros have one? It’s cause it’s a huge help when it helps

      This is Walter E Long, a public lake outside Austin, one of the most fished public lakes in Travis County. It is not a stocked pond and it's owned by the city of Austin. Great job, Tyler, killing' it with those 6th Sense lures!

    • @aaronitchkawich3565
      @aaronitchkawich3565 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I didn't mean it as a diss per se I just see lots of Texas bass guys catch 3+ lbers every cast. I fished 50+ times in RI last year and was happy to catch a couple over 3 the whole year. Is that because I'm bad or just available fish? Just curious.
