  • @MrKozlosPL
    @MrKozlosPL 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    does the slim v2 controller have the deadzone of OG joycons ? The range of joycon's analog registered movement is limited in comparison to big controllers, it's really noticeable in spyro & witcher, max tilt it like 70% of various pro controllers.

    • @liipple8303
      @liipple8303 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you got them? Do they have deadzone? I have ones from NYXI(hyperion) and they have small but noticeable deadzone at every 45° :/

    • @LuanaBs
      @LuanaBs 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have absolutely no idea what dead zones changes on games, like, for me if there isn't drift and the characters walk when i move without delay, i'm totally ok, i don't even notice this kind of thing

    • @liipple8303
      @liipple8303 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@LuanaBs i bought the iine slim and they work fine, have no deadzones and buttons feel a little bit cheaper but they work and the grip is amazing. Have you noticed a little bit of delay comparing to og joycons when using gyro?

    • @LuanaBs
      @LuanaBs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the Elite version, so i can't say about the slim, i bought the Elite because the grip looked more comfortable and more firm than on the slim one that is close to the original joycons size.

    The good thing about the first version is you can actually assign turbo while in game without removing you hand on to the Controller as the Turbo and Macro are at the back. While the 2nd version T and M feature are at the front and you need to pause the game to remap or assign Turbo on buttons.

    You talk pretty fast, but I understood. I bought both. Like the larger size, but waiting for the smaller to arrive so I can try it. I would like the thumb sticks not to be as high as they are on the bigger joycons, so I'm hoping the shorter thumb sticks will be better.

    • @AlexLAmaya
      @AlexLAmaya 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Any updates? I am debating on which size to buy. I have small hands. But if I get the bigger ones it would mean to get another travel case too. Help!! Lol

    • @busterhoodstar4447
      @busterhoodstar4447 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@AlexLAmaya the larger size is much more comfortable and ergonomic, in my opinion. The joysticks sit a little higher than the standard joycons. But once I got acclimated, I absolutely love them. They have enough rumble and all my buttons respond well. Yes, I had to get the case for it by ButterFox on Amazon. It fits perfectly with additional slots for extra games and the middle piece, if I want to use it as a controller. The RGG is great under the joysticks. I only wish the buttons were back-lit as well.

    • @AlexLAmaya
      @AlexLAmaya 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Buster Hoodstar thanks for replying to my comment!! I do enjoy more the Pro controller (I am guessing is about the same size). Another case and the bigger RGB joycons then ;)

    • @StarmenRock
      @StarmenRock ปีที่แล้ว

      yes! the texture is also very differnt. i bought two pairs, one black and one transparent, and the black gets dirty and grimey really fast compared to the transparent one too. it's a trade off.

      @@poisxnashley Basically, yes. However, I have seen that every brand has some specific difference or touch added to their products. For example, IINE uses better, ALPS potentiometers for the sticks and better, metal stick caps. I'm talking about the IINE Elite Plus Controller compared to Nyxi Hyperion.
      Overall, IINE controllers seem to be of higher quality than the rest.

    Does the v1 and v2 controller charge when connected to the switch or when docked?

    • @MrA-wd7gm
      @MrA-wd7gm 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I had both the Binbok ones. V1’s right analog placement is much better because it’s not directly under the ABXY and it has back buttons. V1 grips are to fat for more my liking. Could be slightly thinner. Also it had drift less than two hours in. I think if it didn’t drift I would’ve liked it. I wanted to like it too.
      V2 Thumb grips are way to small, maybe as small as the joy cons but with better throw. The D Pad is horrible on the V2. Like what the reviewer said when you push it down, it doesn’t go much at all. Analog placement doesn’t feel good.
      Overall I like the split pad pro over both of them even tho it doesn’t have bluetooth and vibration.

      Binbok, IINE, Nyxie, et al are just resellers of this Chinese product that added their logos on it. Just like how Clevo is rebadged by companies like OriginPC, Eluktroniks, et al.

  • @busterhoodstar4447

    These are horrible because of the surface. They should have given the grips some texture. It's really smooth so when your hands sweat at all, they slip.

    • @Prof.Mokster57
      @Prof.Mokster57 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the black version has those textured grips you are hoping for. Wanted to get these transparent versions but realise that its just plain cheap plastic body as compared to the black 1 which has better plastic quality with textured surface on the back
