  • Jeanie Buss, owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, recalls early career moments, from sitting in on World Team Tennis meetings as a teenager to working rigorous 14-hour days as president of the Great West Forum. She attributes her success to both her ambition and the empowerment she received from her father, Dr. Jerry Buss.

I have spent the last 2 hours listening to Jeanie Buss talk about her ways, her loves, her hates, what scares her, what makes her cry, what she wants to do in the future. Wow,,, Jeanie Buss, you are an amazing, beautiful, REAL person that I am so glad I got to know you(it seems) through yourself and Graham’s interview. Truely amazing person you are, Jeanie!! Graham, what a great interview you did as well. Excellence!!😋

Jeanie Buss detractors: all nowhere to be seen and/or six feet underground. David Stern and Adam Silver *immediately came out after the hastily-prepped coup d'etat: Lakers Have Only One Boss We Answer To, She Is Her. Everyone who says otherwise #SmallDickEnergy and now nobody can say NOTHING.

Why do you only post clips and not the whole interview? Would be great to watch it. It also gives you the proper flow of it.

They make more money with separate clips rather than whole interviews.

Your around work all those hours. Just being around, talking, sitting in on meetings. Just sitting in that's it. Dad allowed someone to think what they thought and had to say actually played a factor. But in the early years. It meant absolutely nothing. It's not absolutely nothing even resembling work for 14 hours as 98.9 percent of the human population knows and understands working 14 hours is. It's the equivalent to trump saying he's a self made me. After his daddy gave him a small 1 million dollar loan. If 1,500 dollar brunches and talking business at a country club where nothing you actually have to say plays a factor in daddy decisions is working 14 full hours. Find 2 people that refuse to work that would refuse doing that and already having anything they do have a back up account to fund it if it fails. And no there is absolutely nothing wrong with being born wealthy. And I'm positive it's a fact she did a little working in the early years. And absolutely bull doo Doo. Anything about the 14 hours was anywhere near hard work. Ever

What's she accomplished? Other than throw away her family because she wanted to be the boss.

She didn’t “throw her family”. She and her brother had sat down to discuss their plan to get back to the playoffs and they agreed on a three year timeline which he then took public without the parties agreeing. They also agreed that if he didn’t meet the timeline that she’d remove him. He started making trades behind her back she was worried about and so she asserted her role as controlling owner. Jerry wrote the trust the owns Lakers out that way which the court immediately issued an order of. Her brother wasn’t operating the operations openly and communicating and his poor performance lost him his job. Sorry pal but we’re running a multi billion dollar franchise so if it hurts the feelings tough cookies

You obviously don’t know what you‘re talking about. Educate yourself on Lakers history.
