  • We travel to Los Angeles to visit with Lakers owner Jeanie Buss. Considered “the most powerful woman in the NBA,” Buss reflects on her journey, from attending her father’s conferences as an elementary student - to her ascent within the Lakers. Jeanie also opens up about sexism faced in the workplace, the challenges of managing a family business, and the loss of her friend - and NBA icon - Kobe Bryant. We also hear from her now-husband, comedian Jay Mohr, on his battle with addiction, and get a sneak peek at how his experiences have integrated into his stand-up routine.

She always has been extremely sweet and she has made many sacrifices in life on behalf of the Lakers. She and her Dad shared a very special bond. She loves the Lakers and the entire organization. My hats off to Jeanie for opening up and being so honest about everything.

A depthful, humorous, joyful, full of love interview! Not a Laker's fan (Warriors), but listening to this woman makes me feel love to compete but leave the negativity out! I feel strongly her compassion and empathy for all. Thanks for introducing me to this exemplary woman.

As a long time admirer of Jerry Buss and his daughter Jeanie, thank you very much for such a great interview. I did not realize she married. I wish she and Jay all the best.

Speechless about her relationship choices. 😢 So much going for her and lost in a LA insecurity. I met Mr. Buss a few times and she is a lot softer than him. A diamond in a LA ruff. Wishing her all the health and success in the world.

She certainly sounds like she had some big fun. She certainly got around like her dad. Well done and fair play to you Jeannie. Life’s not a rehearsal. Have all the fun you can.

I'll disagree with Jeanie a bit. She said Men no longer treat her and Women like they don't belong in the room. I believe some Men still do. But NOW she is the owner so those who might treat HER that way must bend to the fact she IS the shot caller in the room! 😂
