WTH??!!!! I am a believer!!!!! I tried this and I already had 2 sales in the last 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You got yourself a new subscriber right here!!!!!!!!!!!
I've only had an eBay store since April 1st, 2021. It's amazing to me how many times I have had some one make me a low-ball offer on things, I counter offer at a higher price and then the item sells to a completely different person for FULL PRICE!! Makes my day every time! Thanks for this great tip! As a new re-seller I really appreciate the videos you put out!
Oh My Gosh, simple but brilliant. I hate that I can't get those items out of the Make an offer list, and I will finally give in and offer 5%. This is a great idea because it looks like you gave them a great discount. YOU Go!!!!! You are my hero!!!!
People generally don't remember what the price was when they put a watch on it. I've done this a lot. The worst was an item that was reasonably priced at 90 and I had 5 or 6 watchers. As time went on, I kept adding watchers and dropping the price until I got to $50 and 14 watchers. At this point that trick wasn't going to work because you can only send offers once, so that you aren't badgering potential buyers. So after $50 I went up to $100 and for some reason the right person bought it at $100 and I'm glad they didn't see it at $50
Hey Prime Time - I tried this as I watched the video with about 5 items that were "Send Offer" ready, all ones that I did not want to sell for any less than they were. Within like 4 minutes, one sold for the price that I had original had it listed for! Kudos.
Good idea. You’ve created Scarcity, Fear Of being Left Out, a Bargain for those who like to grind or feel like they "beat you." All very powerful emotional triggers that cause a reaction. The fish biting at the wiggling worm. Or you’ve seen it where a dog sits looking at its food with no signs of being hungry, but then when another dog comes into the room, it’s like the first dog is starving now and eats as fast as they can. Great sales technique.
Thanks so much... I used this trick and 5 things sold right away this past week.. not raising it and same sale price, but your wording of the "get it now, first person to respond gets it" of the offer... that was gold!
I've been doing ebay a year now, time to leave my baby steps behind and get my store now so I can use all these wonderful ideas! I feel not having a store really does something with the ebay algorithm and doesn't give me much in the sales department ; time to put my big girl pants on and get a store! Thanks Dom, good advice!
Just watched this video. Quickly revised price on 3 items and then sent offers. One item sold with this technique. I’ll take it! Thanks for this information!
Ok I’m impressed Dom. I was able to sell one item this way. The sale didn’t come in a hour but came in about 6 hours later. I will definitely try this again.
Hi Dom-😀 thank you so much! I just tried this with an item that was sitting for months and it sold within an hour! And...it sold for a couple of dollars more than the original price 🥳 how good n funny is that! The only thing is I should have known this because I was born and raised in Brooklyn too ! Cheers and regards Vinny
Don't the watchers know it's been increased? Then they get this email with the price they had last seen before that day? Watchers don't get mad? Or is it just for products that haven't been had new Watchers for 30 days?
I would take an instructional video over a what sold video any day! I find it hard to watch what other people are sold when I have so much trouble selling anything.
Thanks! This really works for any items you have watchers on. Just tried it. I first raised my price, then sent an offer for my original price to watchers, and within a day, the item sold!
I had two items to send offers that were at rock bottom prices. They had been there for a long time. I did what you said and sold one item the next day for more than my lowest price. Thanks.
This is so great! I found you on The Nurse Flipper and joined the Facebook group which led me to this video. I actually sold a newer listed item yesterday by using this same technique. Love having that style wording to make it feel more urgent to the potential buyers in a nice way. Really enjoying your channel and the group.
Dom! I can't thank you enough. I've played around with this strategy these past couple of days and have made more sales that I know are attributed to me sending these messages/offers. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge, tips/tricks, and humor with us all!!!!!
Great tip! I have done a similar technique by adding shipping where there was free shipping then sending out a steeper offer. This I like and will try! I also go in and end my listing and sell similar on items that have been around forever. That has worked on getting sales on those items as well. Ready for tonight!!
I used your wording for offers and it did improve my results. Thank you so much. I did get a message from a buyer saying they saw the same message on TH-cam video today. LOL we were both watching your channel.

Thanks for the awesome information 😊 I’ve always felt stuck after lowering a price and then get watchers. Just felt like I could change the price back up without seeming shady. But your technique make sense. Brick and mortar shops do the same thing basically with sales or discounts. Thanks again 👍😊
I've actually done what you suggest from time to time. It works for some items, not all. Another thing I've done is once the price has bottomed out and been there for a bit, I raise it to a crazy stupid high price. So high people go... that must be a mistake.. and they send me a note... "oh yeah that's supposed to be...whatever" it gets it noticed and sometimes they take it at the whatever price. I have raised things to what I thought was a stupid high price and they sell immediately at that stupid high price. Some people WANT to pay more. Lowering your price is not always the way to go, ebay thinks so, but they're not right. instead of going down, go up a few dollars (or a dollar depending on what the item is) every few days or once a week. I don't know why that often works, but I'm guessing it's "Damn lets get it before it gets any higher." Being the lowest priced on a certain item is no guarantee of a sale. I've sold my items for more while the same item with extras sits there for less money than I got. I can't ever seem to figure out the whys of it all. Ebay takes note of ANY change and reorganizes the listings depending on how fresh they are... any change in the price, up or down makes ebay's system take note so I've been told and it seems to be true.
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Yep I say try anything and everything. For some stupid reason... I cannot sell sports shoes. I've had some rare Nike and Jordan shoes, and others, but couldn't get anything for them, while some people make a killing off sports shoes. I can easily sell dress shoes, beat up work boots even a pair of cowboy boots I called Zombie boots, because they were resurrected from the dead. Condition isn't always a limting factor either... if you present it right. I can sell old work boots and old tool belts easily...I just say "Why would you want an old tool belt (or boots) you don't want to show up first day on the job with a new tool belt looking like you're at your first job... even if it is, you don't want to look like it. @@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter but true. Long before the internet, I used to sell at flea markets. There were two cities near where I lived that had them. I soon discovered that one of them was particularly good on Saturdays, not much on Sundays, and vice versa with the other one. One of the things we sold welll my wife sold was costume... well jewelry a bit above standard costume jewelry...handmade from bone or whatever. Well we had this one huge necklace piece. We had it on a holder...it wasn't really meant to sell, we had it there mostly to attract attention. Only a lady with very ample um chest .. could pull off wearing it. Well over the weeks it did it's job, but was getting stale, we needed a new attention getter. So I marked it down, and down, and down... nuttin. so one day I got crazy and marked it way the hell up, twice where it started at originally...it not only sold within minutes, the lady that bought it became a very good, steady customer. I've got probably a million such stories. Like the manually operated cash register I was using at the flea. I paid all of 75 cents for it. (there were two available I should have got both) anyway after a week or two some guy asked about the register. I told him, "Well I don't really want to sell, but I've always said if I can get twice what I paid, it's sold. I paid 75... will you pay one fifty?" note I didn't say cents. "Sure,"" he ponied up 150 dollars like it was nothing. Course once I could do some research on it, (no google then) I found out it was probably worth a grand.
Just found your channel and subscribed. Great idea. and looking forward to seeing what else you have shared.. Am just starting this journey so I will save this to use later. Any suggestions for someone who is brand new and just about the sign up with eBay? Can you point me to some very basic info about all of this? I have done a lot with marketing and holding estate and garage sales in the past, but it is the mechanics and of all this that has me hesitating. Am a bit nervous about all the rules and regulations and concerned that I have no record with eBay or buying online. But I do have quite a lot of nice things to sell.
Great tips! Is there a way to find out what you were originally charging for an item? Newbie (but still shame on me) for not having a spreadsheet. Thank you!
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Great info! However, can you find the "original" price for an item in the HTML? I wanted to use the advice in this vid to adjust my price to send to watchers, but I just don't remember what it was. Thanks so much for your time!
TIP: for those with a STORE you can change the price (upward) and as long as you have a markdown sale running correctly it will re-apply the sale to those items (which is SWEET). Love having a store.
Always great info! Can’t wait to try this. I often end & relist these items to stop seeing them! Watched Kat’s video, you guys looked like you were having fun!! Great escape from current events!
I have been doing this for years and it works. Its nothing new and unheard of. I get called idiot and a horrible seller by some in other groups for having the nerve to suggest this. One thing with EBay if you have a lot of watchers on an item an no offers or sales then you really should consider relisting it and getting it a fresh slate. Have done this to items where raising the price does not work and the item sell within 24 hours.
Thanks for the info...... I am still new to selling on ebay and I have tried to find an answer to this question but I can't see it anywhere so I thought I would ask if you knew. So if I put a flat rate shipping for day 7.00$,but it only cost me 4.50. So do I get to keep the extra 2.50 or does ebay take it?
Yes I do this too whenever I see I have an eligible item I send right away (not the way prime time did it). So when I went to follow his steps I was so confused how to pull up older watchers. But I think I need to be patient and then try this technique 😬. Thanks for all u do!!

@@tootall5559 sounds like awesome stories!
Thanks Joan and welcome to the Prime Time family. I’d suggest watching some of my shipping videos. They can really help you.
Hi can you tell me what editing software you use and how to get an ebay thumbnail picture onto your video when you are talking. thank you !!
Canva for thumbnails. Streamyard for Picture in Picture
Great tips! I haven't started selling yet, it's good to know that I can never take them off. New subscriber ♥
Welcome to the Prime Time family!
Such a smart strategy!! Loved watching you all on Kats channel.
Thanks Carla!
Prime Time Treasure Hunter love ya’ll but it’s Carla with a C
@@carlazona4944 sorry! Just fixed
That’s amazing! I will be applying this to my store immediately
Thanks! It works all the time. We just did it today for an early morning sale. Lol
Great tips! Is there a way to find out what you were originally charging for an item? Newbie (but still shame on me) for not having a spreadsheet. Thank you!
Thanks. See here: th-cam.com/video/9PRWGCOLCPk/w-d-xo.html
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter I will check this out & thank you so much!
@@hummingbirdlvr5189 sure thing!
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Great info! However, can you find the "original" price for an item in the HTML? I wanted to use the advice in this vid to adjust my price to send to watchers, but I just don't remember what it was. Thanks so much for your time!
@@hummingbirdlvr5189 yes, use the html tax search I showed
TIP: for those with a STORE you can change the price (upward) and as long as you have a markdown sale running correctly it will re-apply the sale to those items (which is SWEET). Love having a store.
Love it! Very original idea, Dom! I just tried on about 20 listings....fingers crossed.
Let me know! Lol
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Absolutely, will do!
PERFECT Timing for this video 😎 I've got 10 items I've had in limbo on my send offers list.
Hope it works for you!
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Thanks!
Always great info! Can’t wait to try this. I often end & relist these items to stop seeing them! Watched Kat’s video, you guys looked like you were having fun!! Great escape from current events!
Yes, I try to entertain and educate at the same time. Thanks for stopping by!
Great tactic. Going to give this a shot. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck!
I’ll give it a try...thanks for the tip!
Sure thing!
Sold 1 out of 12 so far. I like this maneuver.
Not bad for stale stuff
Ok, Dominick. We’re going to give this a shot. Wish me 🍀
Lol I promise it works
No way!!! This is hilariously genius

This is sneaky , we have been selling on eBay for years and never though of doing that , thank you

Most smiles I've ever seen on your face.! :)
Lol. I smile alot though! 😃
Great tip, I'm going to try this, thank you!!!
Lol lol great tips and I love typing in and telling everyone to act fast first person to respond wins!!
Lol me too! Thanks!
Thanks prime time for the extra sales

Is there a way to create the message. Sent with Ofer without retyping it every time?!
Low tech Candy🧚🏻♂️🔨
I'm sure going to give this a try. My sales have been terrible the last 2 weeks. Ugh
Good luck!
Wow, thanks! I usually totally clear out my Send Offers page every week no matter how old the item is. Maybe I'll just hold back on some now!
Try it out
Yes I do this too whenever I see I have an eligible item I send right away (not the way prime time did it). So when I went to follow his steps I was so confused how to pull up older watchers. But I think I need to be patient and then try this technique 😬. Thanks for all u do!!
@@mcsus7823 hope it works for you!
