Omg!!! That was EPIC! There were so many great ideas there, thankyou for sharing! Thank you for being open as well and not afraid of 'spreading the wealth' of ideas you have and have accumulated by selling on eBay! It's just fantastic! I need to write all that down now cuz there is just so much good stuff you said! Thank you so much again seriously!
I have heard you mention many times about taking boxes to estate sales. I don't do that. I take my giant Ikea blue bags. They hold a ton of stuff and are easy to carry. They make more sense for me.
The most useful TH-cam video for resellers! My personal favorite tip was to stay away from Pink and Purple Garage Sales when pressed for time. LOL I had to pause and take notes on the Best Offer Sale Price when doing research tip. Excellent info for newbies and the seasoned.
Hi, I took notes, lol. This is the best video for all the tips, all in one place, thank you. Here's one I use. If no label at one thrift store (they know me), I never say "how much?" out loud. If I do, the manager comes over and gives a higher price. I just put it on the counter and the lady charges a dollar or 2. Today I didn't have my regular person and she gave me a discount too. Be nice and get to know the people in the thrift stores. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you so much! This was so awesome I'm going to have to watch it 10 times to quickly scribble down all the really cool stuff that perked my ears up. :-)
On taking boxes to estate sales, I also have printed up a post it pad with “sold” on each. They are great to post on larger items. I simply remove the price tags and a fix it to a paper then place the sold tag on the item. It allows me to move more quickly through the sale.
So...I take it this is after you've paid for the estate item, right? Or is this just a method to prevent other buyers to that item, buying you time to explore other treasures in the estate?
You NAILED IT! Dang, so many fantastic tips. The best video I have watched for a wealth of useful tips. Thank you so much. I've been piddling with this reselling intermittently casually for 25 years, time to get busy and more serious. But I have sold over $40,000 just goofing off on ebay in that time so not wasted. Thanks again. I will be following your videos from here on.
Taking a break from sourcing in order to have time to list is something I tried but then I feel grounded , lol but it is true , a good accountability measure to have ! And you hit a home run on this video again ! Thank you for not breathing for 10 minutes 😊And thank you as always for great info !
@@vintagehuntressus Okaayy!! That makes it all so understandable now, listening to the parts he mentioned the term. Thank you much for taking the time to help me out! I absolutely think Ive found the group ive been hoping for! Somewhere I just... Fit. Excited to be here!

I loved this. Too many TH-cam videos seem "stretched out" to use up a certain amount of time ... more time for ad insertions, perhaps ... no, that couldn't be it, LoL. Tips number 30 and 31 were especially useful. I know you and Pete the Craigslist Hunter are friends ... he got his start with simple little free Craigslist ads telling people he wanted to buy stuff ... excess inventory and such.
GREAT VIDEO.......I do almost everything and the one's I don't, I may just do now. This was a GREAT non-stop PT'athon.......Made me spit my beer out on #50. LOL.
Holy Moly! You must of taken lessons from the micro machines guy lol! All fundamental tips, always look above and below eye level, people miss a lot at estate sales.
Thank you for great new tips and a reminder for others! Now breathe lol I had to laugh at the epic lemonade stand and pink and purple tip, but it really made me excited to get back to garage sale season! Liked and shared, hugs to Daisy and take care!
Great quick information, thank you. You mentioned taking a bag of items to use to test items, would you consider doing a video on what you take or recommend?
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter that was the only one I didn't know!- thanks for it!- Pace was a little 'auctioneer fast' for me- but your energy and positivity always come across, and help compensate somewhat for the anxiety speed🥰 Love how diligently you work at this, with such a demanding mainstream job! How do you have time for it all, and ANYTHING ELSE?!
Another awesome video, I seriously don't know how I would do anything without you. I do have a question I figured out very quickly get my mail carrier kind of like my new best friend, but I've been struggling with what I should get for him or what I should do for him, I don't want it to be too much but I don't want it to be too little. With all that said he's so amazing and he put all the other mail carriers that sub in for him to shame.
I give mine a $100 gift card at xmas, and a $50 at the 4th of July- plus various energy drinks and the like, depending on season. For me to run to the post office is 45mins round trip- so just do the math about fuel and cost of your time they save you in a year- I wish I could give him more, but he's swell. Strike up a report with them, find out what they like. You can without seeming 'stalkerish' - and just always thank them graciously for their service, and tell them how you couldn't do your job as well without them! Everyone responds to heartfelt praise and gratitude!
I got banned from Etsy after complaining when they gave black sellers' buyers a cheaper deal than if they bought from non-blacks. I simply asked if they would *also* give that deal, later, to Swedes, and Orientals, and so on. Got banned for asking and for using "Orientals," as they ignorantly find that offensive. They want people using the inaccurate term, "Asians." Too bad for the Inuit, Eskimos, Japanese, etc., I guess.
It was a lesson well learned. Made me realize the importance of securing my inventory. Via storage box or locking it up. What is your thought on protecting inventory due to a fire or theft or some other freak incident. I have considered finding some type of insurance, any thoughts?
Dom, could you elaborate on tip #37 at 6:55? I have gotten stung on heavier items in the past. I did not see, in the eBay drop down box, the option you mentioned for general economy shipping for 1-10 days. Is that something we would create or is it in the platform? Thanks,

That’s another option. I get some heavy stuff like electronics though so it would not work for me. It depends on what you source

Now that’s the kind of content I love straight into the point and useful!!!!!

Look on desktop, not the app. You should see it there. If not, ask eBay to activate it for you
