Well articulated sentiment. Breaking routine in an unfamiliar place is a daunting task, but those who at least attempt it and not let the fear cripple them are rewarded. Mr. King's message is potentiated through his own 6 year experience in a foreign place, where he seems to understand that home is what you make of it, not what it makes of you. Thanks for the video.
For people who are scared to work abroad, I work in Korea and Korea didn't even make the list. But I'm been here for three years and am having the time of my life.
I hope I can get through the first year of life in Japan. I worked so hard to get here during COVID, studying the language, getting a degree and yet I can't get hired in the industry relevant to my degree. I always get to the end and rejected. Ive lost so much hope so far and I have never been so hopeless and miserable in my life.

Great topic, it's just a shame that the speaker addressed the topic in such perfunctory way by sharing the most uninteresting platitudes about China. Maybe he was nervous, I don't know but I still think it's a noble attempt to shed light on the expat life topic.
